Hi mylotters,I was a naughty boy when I was very young,I was not interested in studying,so I couldn't do well in my study. My teacher always told my parents my test scores after every test.Of course,I would be severely criticised by my father. So I hated my teacher very much at that time. It is very funny to say that now .As an adult,I have realized that what my teacher did is good for me.I should appreciate my teacher. Did you "hate" your teacher when you were a student?

I hated my math teacher when in my senior middle school, because he liked beautiful girls and telling "jokes" not related to the lesson,he wasted our time.We doubted at that time" Maybe he was not qualified to teach us,and his knowledge about math is too limied to teach us,so he killed our time....." I don't hate hard teachers,In China, there is an old saying"Strict teachers produce excellent students".It is true sometimes. It seems that all the men teachers like girl-students while all the women teachers like boy-students. What's your opinion?

I had a teacher who was very mean to me! I used to argue with him all the time. I love to read and I had always reasons to argue with him about the stuff he was teaching. I didn't hate him though :P

Yes exactly friend, even i had a sir with whom i used to argue all the time. But now when we sit for sometime and think about all those things, we just smile isn't it and think how silly were the arguments right. What's your take on it?

Well... I have never hate my teacher before but one teacher I had in the first year of elementary school. I hate her because she is an evil and cruel teacher. She had a very bad mouth, which often make a ugly nicknames for students, which funny for other students but painful for the victim. I hate her so much because she made a nickname for my sister.

The teacher you say above is really hateful,it would hurt the student for whom the teacher made a nickname. I am very regret that I misunderstood my teacher,he was really a good teacher. Thank you for your response.

I have a few I didn't like, but I don't think it was for the same reasons.... I didn't like teachers based on how they taught and their attitudes. I had a teacher that was very mono tone and soooo boring. Needless to say it was very boring in that class and I didn't learn anything because I always fell asleep or he was so boring I just didn't pay attention. Then I remember another teacher I had that didn't know anything!!! The students actually knew more than she did. It was her first semester there and her last. She didn't come back. Then there is those just plain old mean teachers that didn't like certain kids. Like if you weren't in sports (which was me) then they didn't care for you or didn't pay attention and you had to work harder than the jocks to get a descent grade.

We had one teacher when I was in junior school who was extremely abusive. She would never have got away with her behaviour nowdays. She would pick on shy, timid students and be physically abusive towards them. So yes, I did, and still do, hate her. I was appalled because I looked at the school's website recently and she is still teaching there!!!

I can't remember any particular teaches that I hated. I do remember a few teachers that I was fond of. I remember a algebra teacher that I had in junior high. She always went the extra mile to help me out. And those are the types of teachers that I remember.

I don't think I hated any of them. But I went to a "country" school for my elementary education and that teacher was not one of my favorite people. She had her favorites and it showed. I had teachers through high school that I really disliked and those I just loved. You sure can tell which teachers are there because they "have" to be instead of wanting to be. I can sure tell with my son's teachers now too. I really think teachers who enjoy their work and try to make it enjoyable for students make a long-lasting mark on their students. There are teachers I really liked in classes I did NOT like, but I remember the information and the classes because of the teacher and how they taught it! Teachers can be and are amazing people!

In school most of our teachers were good and we all respected them but the teacher who taught us in the prefinal and final year was a martinet. Very strict and unprepossessing to look at. Over and above she was a spinster and used to take the ruler to us at the slightest pretext. We were all scared of her and we used to abuse her behind her back. After we left school i did not see her for many years though she lived quite close to my house.Eventually she retired. Afer forty years i regained contact with her as her brother who was a retired university professor became my friend. I was amazed at the change in her. She had mellowed down quite bit and had become very friendly. Gone was the old grudge and was replaced by a liking for the old crone.she remembered the old days and laughed at them. She passed away this year a few months ago from cancer which she had been suffering from since a year. I did not know about it but her brother told me that she suffered a lot but her end was peaceful.I have not forgoten the old days but i now remember her for what she was much later long after school.R.I.P.

Yep. About 3 teachers in particular. 1 in college and 2 in school. In school we had a english teacher, who himself doesn't know english . LOL. He never teach lessons. All he will do is enter the class room, and sit on the chair and give us a lot of writing works. Thats it. I can't remember even a single day that he has actually thought lessons to us. And when students fail, he will call the parents and say that he/she is not concentrating the class while he take lessons. Lol. That was stupid of him. He was one of the funniest teacher I ever met in schools.

I had this teacher in middle school... who was just plain mean... she was loud when she got mad and just down right bitter.. she would keep the room at a low temperature.. i always thought it was to keep everyone awake. well i finally had enough and switch classes.. and i still remember her saying to me the last day i was in her class "what cant take the heat?" lol... well i went on a 8th grade trip to Washington DC the summer... and she was one of the mentors who went... and the crazy thing she was the coolest person there... i remember going to the holocaust museum and at the end was a huge lobby full of people.. a friend had one of those dollar bills tied to string the would retract when people would go and grab it off the ground... now i must say this is not the ideal place to play pranks on people but come on i was young.. anyways one of the guys we played the joke on got mad and ripped the dollar off the string.. then here came our teacher looking all bitter and i couldn't believe what she said... " come on its just a joke lighten up" i thought we were going to get in trouble but no she was sitting there laughing the whole time... i think teachers are hard on ya in school to push you to do better... you'd be amazed on how some teachers act when there not at school.

Hello simon611, I don't remember hating any of my teacher. I think they are just doing their job for us to learn and be a good citizen of the world. They might have different style in teaching and loss their patience once in a while but I think they deserve our understanding as a student. It's hard to teach you know, specially kids. If you are a teacher you will try everything in your power to let the children learns and be discipline. So far, I do have some terrot teacher and it's really hard to go into their classes but you have to endure it and not hate your teacher. Regards.

I dont hate them I was more like afraid of them coz I sure dont want to fail any subjects and so I try my best to study hard but sometimes I still have those line of 7 in my card -but at least I tried. I think teachers should be appreciated more because lets be honest-its not easy to take care of kids and stand and write and explain and see some of them not paying attention -wheew tough job ...

I never hated any of my teachers when I was studying.I was also a naughty girl when I was young but I was interested in learning what they are programmed to teach us.What we learned from our teachers is what we are today. Now you realize you should appreciate all that they did was right.

i did not. in fact, i looked up to my teachers and made them my role models. i witnessed their support, although sometimes i felt they were playing favorites, which you really can't avoid. my teachers in elementary and high school really gave me beautiful childhood memories.

Hell what teacher didn't I hate!! I wasn't unruly just unusual and my teachers were always jerks. In first and second grade I had a nun as my teacher!! BOO! She locked me in a closet once because I was shy about reading out loud in front of the class. She gave me a wrong answer on a test once. The nun principal yelled, seriously yelled, at me when I dislocated my shoulder at school... Mean, the lot of them!! I think above all the gym teachers and the guidance counselors are the ones I hated the most. The guidance counselors were useless. The guidance they gave couldn't have gotten me out of a bag. The gym teachers were just annoying. Why on earth was it detention worthy if I didn't have my damn gym clothes? What the hell was the problem in playing in my regular clothes? What the hell was the point of gym to begin with? Do they really think that the 20 minutes of playing dodgeball once a week would do anything for the out of shape kids? I sometimes wonder how some people can be so stupid.
