Will you be cooking for Thanksgiving?

Are you hosting a dinner for Thanksgiving or going somewhere and bringing a dish? Or maybe you just show up and let others cook. I am going to my in-laws and have been asked to bring a cheesecake. I will also bring our traditional oyster snack crackers. So what's cooking at your house?

I am hosting Thanksgiving Dinner this year for both me and my husbands family. Last year we had about 40 people throughout the day. I have been working on it for a week or so now and am adding the finishing touches now. I prepare the turkey and the main dishes and everyone chips in and brings a salad and a dessert. We always have a good time and I get to let everyone else do the cooking for Christmas. Have a great Thankgiving.

40? I could not do that I feel. Even all family. The mmost I think I've ever hosted for was maybe 25 or so. Good luck and don't eat too much that you can't get up. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

My house is very crowded and I am very exhausted at the end of the day but I enjoy it. Grandpa...I have faith in you. You could do it just give them ribbon candy for dessert!

My wife and I are traveling 45 miles to our daughters for Thanksgiving Dinner/lunch. I am my fathers caregiver and he loives with us but is too lazy etc to want to walk to the car so he has decided to stay home. My daughter is spending the night to go shopping with our daughter on Black Friday as well. I will bring a plate home for dad as well. All we do is buy the pies for dessert is all. A pumpkin and a French Silk from Bakers Square. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Mom and I are going to her mother's house. My sister usually goes with us, but she has to work.

This year my mom has to have some minor surgery though so she won't really be able to cook much or clean her house for that matter since we usually have it at her house. I told her I would come clean her house for her and my grandmother and I could cook and then my aunts could bring some things too. But we may end up having it at my grandmother's house because she said something about having it over there. If that is the case then I will go over to her house and help her cook most of the food and just let my aunts bring some other things.
