I saw this quote from the internet and I would like to know your understanding! THE INTERNET HAS NO GOVERNMENT, NO CONSTITUTION, NO LAWS, NO RIGHTS, NO POLICE, NO COURTS. DON'T TALK ABOUT FAIRNESS OR INNOCENCE, DONT TALK ABOUT WHAT SHOULD BE DONE, INSTEAD TALK ABOUT WHAT IS BEING DONE BY THE AMORPHOUS UNREACHABLE INDEFINABLE BLOB CALLED THE INTERNET USER BASE. - Paul Vixie

i don't thinks so ... freedom without responsibility is not real freedom but just an ego of human. Everyone have their right and responsibility and freedom of speech is both of them, we have a right to speak what we want but remember another people also have a right to have their life comfortable so we must not speak that can harm other people unless it is for good for a lot of people .. about anonymous identity in internet, i'm sure we are not 100% anonimous .. we have an ip address, our isp can record our activity or our proxy/tunneling service can make a log of the access ...

i guess you are right! all that the governing body should do is to monitor and screen content to be posted on the internet. but i guess this is a tough job. what do you think?

I agree with this statement. Many conservative politicians have been trying for years to censure the internet but they have been unsuccessful because of freedom of speech. Also because people can post blogs and articles anonymously it is easier for them to get away with saying things that they wouldn't even think about saying on television or in person.
