It was dark, about 10 p.m. A chilly wind. Witht he wind chill the temp was aropiund 10 F. I was involved in a car accident. Not my faullt at all thankfully. ANyhow the towing company was kind enough to drop me with 3 miles of my home the azzes. Anyhow I had a long cold walk of close to 3 miles or so in the frigid Minnesotan night. So now I won't need to walk all the rest of the week. All because some IDIOT woman had to sudeenly swerve into the left turn lane causing me to rear end the truck in front of me as he avoided hitting her. Has an idiot ever made you exercise unwillingly? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi grandpa bob~Wow! I'm glad that you are alright at least! Why didn't they leave you off a little closer to where you live? And don't they have taxi's where you live so you didn't have to walk in that cold for three miles? I can't imagine having to walk that far in the cold! Well, as long as you aren't hurt and you got home safely! I'm sure it could have been much worse if you hadn't been able to get out of that woman's way so I guess you should be thankful that you were able to do that at least even though you hit another car. Just glad that you're ok! Sorry about the car!

They are only responsible for towing the vehicle. They had another pick up as well. No big deal really. I did not have cash with me or at home for a cab so a walk was in order actually. Thanks I am doing okay I reckon. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I do hope that you won't come down with a cold after your forced exercising you got, 3 miles is a long distance. Sorry to hear that you couldn't get someone to pick you up. Why did they drop you so far from home? Probably the cost right?

Hello Grandpa Bob. It is so bad an experience to meet such an idiot that made you walk home on such a frigid night. I am so sorry for it in the hope that drivers will be more careful anytime and anywhere. Take care, Bob.

Gosh..I can't believe they couldn't take you all the way..or at least the police officer could have taken you.. You need some chicken noodle soup and some sleep... You are going to be sore in the morning, no doubt.. I've been rear-ended in every vehicle I've owned... There are idiots everywhere...and you are not one of them... Go to bed, grandpa Bob...

I don't think the Police would have as it is a different city and quite a ways from my home. And the towing comapny had a couple other stops. No biggie really as it is not their responisibility actually to see that I got home. Sleep? Easier said than done as shaken as I am right now. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Oh grandpa I am so sorry this has happen to you. The tow truck driver could have done you better than that. That is a long way to walk. I am glad to hear you made it home safe. And that idiot woman was her car damaged? I have had things like this happen to me but thankfully I have not been in an accident.

Actually it is not the towing comapnies responsibility to see that I got home. Especially seeing it was a free tow too boot. She was not involved in the accident other than being the main reason it happened. She was not hit at all. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Yes, I can say many idiots have made made me exercise unwilling. Not to the extent of an accident. But an unwilling participate of excercise none the less. I hope you are okay and not heard in the rear end collison. I was rear ended once. I didn't walk for over a walk right after it happened.

I don't think your the I D 10 T this time luv. Its the woman who swerved! No, I haven't had to get any unwanted exercise, but since I' hard pressed to walk 100 feet, much less a mile! I'd've probably had to find a way to get a ride!

For once, you're not the idiot. Maybe she should be number one? Unless you weren't properly clothed for the weather, being in a car and all...

That is not the way you want to exercise is it? It is best to exercise when you want to and how you want to. hahaha You should have ask the policeman to give you a lift home. Oh yes, did you have your camera in the car?? If so, did you get it out before it was hauled off? The only time I can think of that I had to do any walking that was not planned was when I was visiting my daughter when her oldest dog was a puppy and my daughter was at work. My oldest granddaughter was there with me for a visit and my grandson was with us and not in daycare while I was there and the dog took off across the highway and we called and called her but just wasted our breath. We took off down the hill, across the highway and finally got her and headed back home. That hill sure did seem like a mountain on the way back. hahaha So yes, she was called an idiot along with other names at that time.

I almost took the camera to get some photos of decorated houses. Glad I didn't as that walk in the cold would not have been nice to the camera as I would not have had a bag for it etc. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Well, at least they gave you a ride that far. I hope you were dressed warm enough for a walk like that. How did your wife get home from work last night since you could not pick her up?

No, they haven't made me exercise unwillingly. The tow druck driver sure was an a*s not to drive you home. Most would do it, maybe for an additional fee, but they would do it. The Police should have made sure you had a ride home. I assume they showed up at the scene of the accident.

Walking in crowded areas, yes, an idiot has suddenly stopped in front of me, making me jump and having to switch my course. But accident, knock wood, no. I am sorry this happened to you and even more sorry that that awful tow truck driver made you walk 3 miles home! That's horrible.

Thats not good to have been in an accident, and thankfully you weren't hurt. The exercise won't hurt you none, look at this way, with all that walking you did, you can eat more of those cookies you like.... I would be mad too tho, especially if I had to walk 3 miles in the freezing cold, and it wasn't even my fault or anything I did. I've never that happen to me before, I hope it never does.

At least you didn't get injured;) I mean it could have been worse with a nice ride on the ambulance to the hospital. Hope you never have to go through such an unvoluntary exercise again;)

The world is full of idiots so that the sane normal ones can be reassured that they are among the select small percentage of sane and normal people lol... actually the idiots would also have to be the tow truck company in my opinion! Why didn't they drop you off closer to your home? Like come on... now THAT was idiotic of THEM. Unfortunately Grandpa Bob idiots seem to litter this earth the way rubbish is on highways. The saying "one born every minute" well sometimes because how often one runs into them you'd think no... more like ever half minute at the very least lol. So sorry you had to go through that though. Some idiot lady tried to cut across 2 - 3 lanes of traffic on a REALLY busy highway during the start of a snow storm right infront of us. We were in my father's van she was in this small little car that not only cut past us.. but tried to stupidly do the same infront of a TRUCK of all things. Not any truck mind you... the ones that pull TWO trailers...! Her car skidded on the ice and spun like a top. Were it not for the fact that MOST people were driving slow including the truck driver she would have been shoveled off the pavement to say the least. It is funny how stupid people can be behind the wheel, especially under bad conditions it is like they feel they are invincible or something.
