Black Mail

India

Recently I have come across lot of news about how some young and poor girls were drugged and their nude and compromising photos were taken in a Cell Phone, after this, these girls were blackmailed, by stating that if they do not obey, these photos will be hosted in the Internet. Is it possible to do such kind of things in a decent site like Mylot? Otherwise what kind of sites host these kind of things. Personally I feel that the internet is a Ocean and only people with accurate and full knowledge of the sites will be able to browse and see such things, I would like to know your views on this.

The internet is ungovernable. Consequently, anyone can put on the internet anything they like. If someone uses images like these guys are threatening to do they can be prosecuted, but only for blackmail, not for the act of publisahing the pictures blessed be

IT is sad to say that there are people out there who would do something as terrible as that and that there are places on the internet that would allow those kinds of pictures or whatever else.

This has become a common feature nowadays, and unfortunately because of the old beliefs in India, most of the victims, do not come out in the open and they suffer silently, the only way is to stop this kind of internet sites.

Unfortunately the Police in our country turn a blind eye to this kind of blackmail, and the laws of the country are very lax, the fact is India continues the laws which your forefathers made and there would have been many changes in your country, but we still continue with the old laws, and the culprit gets away scot free.

This is plain wrong. I suggest they contact the police and report them. There are some real scum out there, they need teaching a lesson.

As mentioned before, the rich and powerful in India can get away with daylight Murder, this is because the police force is a corrupt and a savage force, they have the political backing, and there is one law for the poor and oppressed and one law for the rich and powerful. Fortunately for us the 24 hours T.V.news channels are taking up the causes for the common man, and because of this some changes are happenning.

Correct, but unfortunately even the honest policeman is controlled by the politicians, and even if they want to punish them publicaly, they are either suspended or transferred, so the police also keep quiet.

You sound like you want to see where these photos are posted! lol! Seriously, I feel bad for these women! They should really be careful in choosing the crowd they ahng around with. Can't be too careful! People who do such offensive things are evil! Personally, I think karma is going to find them.
