Being a creature of habit can be a bad thing!

Lately, I've been very lazy and not going on my 3-mile walk every morning. This week, that's changing! Sunday I walked, Monday I overslept, and this morning I walked. Well, I was contemplating only walking 2 miles because my foot has been bothering me. I figured if I walked by the bus stop and the kids were still there, I'd have enough time to walk slower if my foot started to hurt. But, if the bus had already picked them up, I knew that I'd have to keep up my pace and if my foot started to hurt I'd be in trouble (time-wise). So, I'm walking and walking and I'm about ready to start the 3rd mile when I realize that Thanksgiving is this week and the kids have the entire week off of school! There's not going to be any kids at the bus stop for me to gauge my time by. Well, I decided to go for it and do 3 laps anyway, my foot is ok and I'm a little ahead of schedule. Although I was wondering what time it was that whole 3rd mile. I use the school bus schedule to time myself for my walk as well as for getting out of the house in the mornings. Sometimes I wonder how I make it through the day!

I have been walking the dogs almost every day. It is not even a mile but we go for our walks. The dogs love it and it gets me out of the house daily. I wish we had a dog park in our town to take them to so I have a place for them to run in that is fenced.

We have a fairly large fenced yard so I don't have to walk the dog. We do have a dog park close by, but I've never taken her...

Our yard is not that big and we have a pool so no running much without hitting the water. It is to cold for that so we have to walk. No doggy park in our town yet they are suppose to be building one soon.

It's hard to keep track of everything. i commend you for walking three miles everyday. That is quite ambitious. I'm lucky if I get out and do half a mile a week. I think you just inspired me to walk today.

Ya know, it's really the only exercise I get, and it's really easy to do. It's just the motivation to get going when I've been away from it for a while.

I used to walk at night with a friend of mine, but when I moved I find it's easier to walk in the mornings. It really helps me get my day going.
