I have never had a tattoo and I don't particularly want one, though now and again I think that I do. I would have to be 100% sure that I have seen one that I would want on my body for the rest of my life. My husband had some tattoo's removed by laser which cost a lot of money. That was about 8 years or so ago now and I can't imagine how much it would cost now. My questions are though:- Have you ever had a tattoo that you now regret? Do you know someone who has had tattoo that now refret? Have you had any tattoo's removed? Have you thought about having your tattoo's removed?

Hi there mommamusic I am so glad that you are happy with your tattoos. I hear that once you have one then you do want more! Like piercings, it can become addictive and even a stress release. Thanks for your response

I only have the one tattoo and i have never regretted getting it done as it is my children names. But my partner had a tattoo on his arm that he got on the spur of the moment. It was his ex wife's name. Apparently it was all her idea. He could not wait to get it covered up as he does not like being reminded of his past, so he had another one done over it he had my name tattooed on his arm along with a fairy as i love fairies.

That is sweet that he's got your name on his arm and I assume that it was his decision and you didn't twist his arm! LOL Cheers littleone

I never had any tattoo eversince I was born and never planned to have one. I have my cousin who had her tattoo in highschool when she joined an illegal fraternity in school. It's on her left hand middle finger. When the principal found out about the group, he then let the guard check the finger of all the students who will enter in school and if they have a tattoo, they will bring them to principal's office to interrogate. The principal then requested to see their parents and let them remove their tattoo. My cousin removed it using milk. I am not sure how she do it.

Hi rrowenaa Just make sure that you are really sure of what design you want as once the tattooist gets started there will be no turning back. LOL Thanks rrowenaa

I got my tattoo because it means something very dear to my heart. My next one is much the same. I think that if you are going to put something permanent on your skin it had better mean something to you, something that you are going to love for the rest of your life. If you can imagine a point in your life when you will not love that thing, then you should probably not get it. I have known people in the past who have had tattoos removed. Ususally because it had something to do with a girlfriend or boyfriend. Make sure you're going to love it for the rest of your life, that's what I say.

Hi ya jayyerex The other thing I would like to know is why do people have tattoos where they can't even see them? If I was to go through the pain and money of having one I would want it in a place where I can appreciate it for myself! LOL thanks jayyerex

I've created an armband tattoo for myself that I plan on getting sometime in the near future. I don't doubt in my mind for a second that I will want to remove it or regret having it on my body, because it is my own creation and therefore has a deeper meaning then just being somebody else's design. Try designing your own tattoo something that has all the elements of you and see how that works out for you.

Hi there jambi462 I do like your way of thinking but I don't have much imagination and I am useless at drawing. I would regret it because it would like a 3 year old drew it!! Then I would be paying out for the laser treatment! Thanks for your response
