My dog lost her favorite ball....:(

My dog has a favorite ball, which she always likes to play with it. The ball has been with her since she was young. Day before yesterday, when we went out in the morning, the ball is still in the yard. But, when we came home, we couldn't find the ball. We've tried so hard to find it, but still couldn't find it. Although we asked her for the ball, she just walked around, trying to find the ball, but couldn't get any.
Although we have other balls for her, we will go and buy the similar ball for her, as I think she likes this kind of ball.

I have a dog who loves to chase tennis balls. She will play for hours at a time! We have several balls laying throughout the house, but she will pick one, and play with that one ball all day. Dogs can be funny sometimes

well yes it is true that some dogs get habituated with somethings that they take a liking to .... so it is definately a wise decision to get a similar ball.... but sometimes the dogs are smarter than u think they are..... they easily come to know that its not their ball but in fact another ball just like the one they loved so they might not accept it...but if your dog does accept it then the luck is on your side..... my dogs were never really possessive about anything really..... nor did they have anything in particular that was their favourite..... :)

aww sorry to hear about your dog. I think maybe raccoon likes it too? because in my area there are raccoons that wander around the district. your dog plays with the ball? because my dog doesn't like playing with ball that much, everytime i through it out, he sniffs it and walks away ahha
