I just want to let my friend's know that I am still around. I have yet to figure out what is causing me to be killed off the internet, while visiting certain parts of different sites. For instance, I can start topics on Mylot, but when I go back to respond to my friend's comments, more often than not, I get kicked off. I also get kicked off my profile page and that of my friend's. I was Myspace yesterday, looking at a friend's new pictures and was kicked off of there too. So far, I have been kicked off of three sites. Mylot, more than any other. I wish I could figure out what causes it. When I attempt to click back on, I get a pop-up asking if I want to resume my last session or start a new one. If I choose to resume last session, it simply clicks off again. I would contact my ISP, but I have MSN through Verizon, but I use Google through Firefox. Sound confusing? Welcome to my world!!!

hi rozie! i don't understand what being kicked off means because i have not encountered that. surely this situation is new to me. but yeah, maybe it is your internet connection, or just your settings. you might have a firewall installed or something that increased your internet security, which is why you can't access some pages. so do try to check your browser's settings. hope this helps and you can get back to visiting the sites that you love. take care and God bless you daer!

I checked the parental settings through my virus protection, I believe that this was the problem. When I say kicked off, I mean that the internet would disconnect.

Sounds like somewhere it could be an Antivirus or Cookie issue, and you should maybe contact your ISP, etc. and see what they suggest you to do here as well. Also resetting your Settings on your Computer, etc. might help as well. I have never had issues like this in here, but I am always signed in here as well unless I have to reboot my Computer or something to like New. Wishing you the Best.

I would call your internet server, it has to be a problem on their end, if not they will tell you what to do.

I would contact the ISP because this shouldn't be happening. I know you tried to a few discussions before, so how did that go? I would be so frustrated!

Do you have a virus protector on your computer? When mine was doing that I had a virus and ran the virus scan and got rid of it. Goo luck girlfriend.

No, I was not attempting to block out anything. I had temporarily disconnected my service in September because I thought that I would be moving. When they reconnected my service, the parental control setting was already in place and I was not aware.

Make sure that you dont have spyware on your computer. Remove any spyware first. Do donwload spybot search and destroy and adaware. They are free on the internet and they are good anti spyware. If problem persists do a format. I hope this helps.

Do you have dial-up internet? It sounds like that, I used to get kicked off now and then when I had dial-up but now I have cable. Other than that, I can't imagine what it could be. I'd definitely call somebody that offers tech support if possible. Good luck! Annie
