Do You Prefer Manga of Anime?

I like anime too. The sound effects, dialogues, moving characters, and funny facial expressions really does give life to the anime series. I also prefer anime than manga but there are some difference to the original manga in the anime so its also nice to read the manga. Its kinda like reading a book before it becomes a movie or the other way around, just to see how the book and the movie compare to each other.

yup, I prefer watching anime cause the picture move and have sound,, but sometimes the anime version in manga more bored than the comic version so I will see the both version and give a comment about it with my friends

Honestly, I really prefer manga over anime since some themes can only be presented in manga while on their anime counterparts, would either be altered, toned down or simply removed so that it can be safe to be viewed by most viewers. Some stories in the manga get changed due to that and some details too. On the other hand, there are times when a particular series would be released first in anime and then its manga medium would follow later on. A good example for a particular series like that would be Vandread

If an anime series would come from a manga series then I would really prefer the manga. I like reading the manga because it is more consistent with the original ideas of the author unlike in anime wherein a lot of ideas of the author are changed. Also in anime there are a lot of filler episodes (naruto and bleach for example)that make it uninteresting. For now I read more manga than watch anime because I hate filler episodes.

i agree. i like anime. in manga all the sweet battles and scenes are minimalized because the emphasis is not expressed properly.

i prefer manga over anime because the drawings are more detailed..also they add some scenes in the anime which are not necessary and they put too much drama in it..the episodes i watch in anime are usually battle episodes..for anything else i read the manga for the full plot..

I much prefer anime compared to manga, it really is exciting to see the action in the manga really come to life on screen! But the disdvantage is that animes tend to lag the manga storylines, and oftentimes, it lags by quite a bit.

Hi there, I prefer watching anime and read manga. I love both of these.

i would prefer anime because i like to see moving animations rather than just pictures. my friends tell me that the manga is usually more interesting and more detailed though, as compared to anime. Also, anime also adds in a lot of filler episodes which has nothing to do with the manga. These filler episodes are often not as good as the main storyline itself

for me, both..I would go either anime or manga..coz they're both entertaining...but is anime originates from manga?...^_^

manga is better! because in anime too much detail ignored and also i like to move back to previous page to read again some conversations or reading fast when i didn't really like the story.. you cannot do something like that with anime :D

Depends on the Anime/Manga. But most of the time I read and watch. Both are entertaining and interesting.

I love both. Why?: Because when an anime ends it continues in some mangas. I love watching anime but I also love reading it as well if it has ended or no more episodes are being released.
