This week has been so busy for me it's not funny! I have been back and forth between two offices three times so far and it takes over an hour each way because of traffic too. I have had meeting after meeting and task after task to either complete or oversee that I feel like my eyes are gonna fall out of my head! lol. And to top it all off, my business partner is here from the USA so I will probably have to hook up with him over the weekend too. This is certainly not a negative thing by the way, but I am so tired is all. So have you too had times where you just end up totally drained? Do you bounce back quickly when this happens? Thankfully I do bounce back pretty quickly and I am certainly grateful for that because next week it starts all over again! Anyone care to join the "Exhaustion Club" today?

That's no good at all to be tired every single day employment dep! I hope you get a break from all of this sooner rather than later; or some luck with transportation or whatever you can to give you at least a short break for rest every now and then! Thanks for the response.

Here I am James.. Today I started off with the premonition. I woke up late, when I was supposed to be an hour early today with a bad hair day. Stuck in the traffic it too k half hour more than usual to reach my office. The patients were already flocking and stumbling over my office. We had a quite a few patients to be discharged most of who were having Medical insurance. Blasted the thick skinned Insurance personnels to get through the bills. Besides with all those reports, pending job my computer thought of going on holidaying! I still did not start my usual job!! I have had a sleepless night yesterday and all of a sudden started feeling very tired. I felt a little better to get you on FB. Thanks James. Now even as I speak, I am terribly exhausted and disgusted. That's a deadly combination!! All i need a good night's sleep before i am recharged. But with the commandoes still fighting the terrorists, I do not think I will get some. You take care and rest. Happy recharging!

That sounds so good! How I wish we could remain composed and face it strongly. Enough is enough, we must say NO to this now. But first, I guess, we need to fight the corruption in India...

Thanks James for your concern and consistent support on this crisis. thanks to Cjay as well. I know, how you must be feeling right now. with all those familiar landmarks and memories, its certainly not a good day for you too. right now, its being flashed that it's OVER but they aren't sure! I am getting shivers on the sacrifice of the bravehearts! With such a poor infra structure and combat uniform and weapons I really salute them. and james, I do believe that there's light at the end of the tunnel but how long is it, that's something we need to figure out. It's such a nice feeling talking to you in FB and here. I couldn't concentrate on anything until i found you two in FB. Thanks a lot. Take rest.

It is a catch 22 in a sense mimpi. All these idiots want is exposure and by committing these acts, this is exactly what they get. I have been in India personally when attacks have happened and even flew in to Mumbai the dqay after the July 2006 train bombings and it is not a nice feeling. It is a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time for many unfortunately. The main thing for all people to understand is that this is NOT a common theme for India. Yes, there is a high level of terrorist acts compared to many countries; but it is NOT a regulr occurrence for things like this to happen in the way this has just taken place. It is India's 9/11 and we all need to stand in support as best we can.

Exhaustion Cub ! What on earth is that ? It's seems ages since i have felt that way. Had you asked me about it a year back and i would have rattled off so much about not having the time, being stressed out , freaked out and god knows what else. In a way i'm actually missing it, but then i'm not James and would have been missing the fun here at mylot. It's good to know that all this is positive in your case and you do have all our best wishes in your endeavours. I must say that i does take me some time to bounce back especially if it is 12 hour working days and driving through the madenning traffic as well.

Enjoy the weekend James, i'm sure you deserve it. Find some more of those unique to Australia , take some time off for your panda, relish the supermarket trip and get a great long snooze. Saturday morning -keep the red bull in handy.

I amhappy to hear that this is not a club you have been a member of for a while then alok! I have always been a busy guy but have managed to keep a balance between mylot and work..... This week though was the first time in a while where I struggled to find the balance unfortunately. I am home now, the weekend has commenced and I am glad to have the last week behind me. It was a busy one, sure; but it was a productive one as well so that in itself is positive! Thanks for the response and it is great to have the chance to exchange words with you again. It has only been days but it feels like longer!

I needed to join this club when I was dealing with my little sisters and hubby's party I spent a week it seemed working none stop on it making hundred of the decorations and even a pinata..but I doubt what I had to do could never compare not even in the slightest of all the hard work you do. I do hope that you have taken many breaks since this discussion and make a little time to recoup for yourself. I don't bounce back fairly well when my batteries are totally drained it can take up to 3 days or more.

I remember you mentioning how sore your feet were after that week! Unfortunately my circumstances aren't much different since i wrote this discussion and no, I haven't taken any breaks other than the standard weekend's off. It's all a means to an end though and there'll be plenty of time for chilling when I get myself and my Wife's butts back to Australia. You kind of become numb to it as well at times, which isn't ideal, but it is what it is. Thanks for the comments Becca and I was happy to hear the prty you planned ended up being such a success!

Mine would be the mentally exhausted club. As you know I had that car accident. So most my week was dealing with my insurance agent, the claims adjuster, the body shop, the car rental compnany, and other things. Then, I am my fathers caregiver and that is very tiring as well. I manage very well though, other than the mental aspect of the accident. Otherwise I am not that exhausted really physically. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Yes, I saw your discussions about the car accident and responded to one from memory.... I am not surprised that you are mentally exhausted as I have had to go through similar situations myself in the past. Oh the joys of red tape and due process! I am happy to hear that you are physically spot on though Grandpa Bob as I am sure taking care of your Father involves a lot of phyiscal help too. Thanks for the response and I hope you sort out all the car stuff once and for all very soon.

As far as I know everything is taken care of. Now it's just the waiting for them to finish the repairs. I must have spent 20 hours on the phone this week dealing with this accident deal. Thanks and have a great weekend also. I am about to head off to my daughters with my wife. Need to stop and get gas, and pick up the pies we bring each year. Bakers Squiare Pumpkin and French Silk pies. YUMMY HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Now I have to admit that they sound like some GREAT pies! I wish you a wonderful time of it and seeing as you have spent so much time on the phone this week, maybe you could consider moonlighting as a telemarketer as well! Enjoy the family and the pies Grandpa Bob as it is an apt reward for the week you have had to endure!

This once exhausted then got sick feller is now feeling a bit better and refreshed, James. I hope that with all the tasks and such, you still have time to relax. I realized I wasn't invincible and I had to call off sick two days in a row. You are such a busy and powerful man.

I am glad to hear you are on the mend now SaintAnne. I realize how busy you have been lately and being sick as well can't have been nice at all. I am definitely trying to relax where and when I can and funnily enough, mylot is a major form of relaxation for me at times too! I am not sure how to react to the "busy and powerful man" part either! Have I managed to attract the sarcastic or sincere SaintAnne today? Thanks for the response.

I guess there is at least a sense of satisfaction we feel when getting so tired subha because we know we got this way by being so hard working! All we can do is embrace the downtimes as best we can so we can always be prepared for the next onslaught! Thanks for the response.

Same goes with me too. Work has been too busy and exhausting especially that everyone is cramming to finish his or her project just before the holidays. I do hope that I could get a good rest this weekend so that I won't burnout.

I hope you manage to get a good rest this weekend too magojordan as I can relate to how you feel and getting a break is important! It will provide a good base to attack the following week if we get even the slightest amount of recharging time! Thanks for the response and try to take it easy wherever and whenever you can this weekend.

hehehehe. hi exhausted guy! As you've said it's not a negative thing. When I was so busy with work before, running from one office to another, my heart wants to cry out for a great vacation so I could rest. Only to find out that I need another vacation from my vacation. LOL Now, I got the time in the world to rest after I shifted my plans. I found out it's not easy to shift plans. And it's not fun being idle. I found out a lot of things. I have A.D.H.D (attention deficiency hyperactive disorder) I'm not comfortable doing nothing. When I'm watching tv, my hands should be busy knitting or doing something else. I'd be busy again pretty soon and guess what James, I will celebrate when that day comes. And I'll be in your "Exhaustion Club" with a big smile on my face.

I would like to test this concept about needing another vacation to get over a vacation; but I would need to actually take the FIRST vacation to do it! lol. I haven't taken one in over 5 years unfortunately. I am appreciating your whole attitude towatds this very much actually as it is certainly a unique perspective! I do not know how many people would be looking forward to being exhausted like you are! I think I may have ADHD myself too because i can never sit still for long either. Thanks for the response and I hope you get that "Exhaustion Day" you've always wanted!
