Pretending you're about to write a book? What kind of book it would be? Fiction, non-fiction, technical...?

I'm finishing my series presently. Supernatural dramas, as is my strong suit lol. Fiction, obviously. It's about a cursed boy and his dealings with the supernatural.

I've been asked that alot since I've started, and my original answer was no. Ever since I lost my editor it's been hard to think about publishing. But I might. It depends where I'm at later on. Especially since I may be gaining a new editor (I'm so much more confident when I have one, particularly if they're friends of mine). I've published before, *explanatory tone* but that was kind of squashed by losing my editor. So to publish all these new books of mine would mean revisiting that whole part of my life, confronting it, and finishing it.

Fiction, actually, science fiction, with time travel and telepaths and friendly aliens...

My aliens aren't green, have a number of different ones I've come up with.

I am dreaming of writing two books: one on Organic Agriculture, another on Traditional Agriculture, but in our local language, Bisaya, which is spoken in many parts of the Visayas and Mindanao, Philippines. I hope that these books will have technical, scientific and philosophical content. Actually it's not really a far-off dream. I now have a weekly column "Organic Corner" in Bisaya in a Mindanao weekly. My publisher and I are discussing the possibility of compiling the series into a book.

I would write a Children's Book, a combination of Eric Carle and Roald Dahl. That would be really something.. Oh, how I wish I will be able to do that someday:)

I wrote a children book, 4 years ago. It's about a cat, lol I loved the Roald Dahl's CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY but I don't know any other works. From Carle, my oldest son read "THE HUNGRY CATERPILLAR" on school (in portuguese, of course). Unfortunately, there isn't many of his works translated. My boy is starting to read english so, maybe in next year I can give him other books, like THE TINY SEED that I consider one of the finest children book ever written.

I THINK I would write a fiction book. Maybe fantasy. I don't know what it would be about though...lol

Well, I guess it would definitely have to be fiction, not much research! Also, I love the horror theme and so I would have to write a horror book. I love reading Stephen King and I guess he kind of inspires me when it comes to writing. I love writing and I guess I'm trying to get creative with my imagination. The good thing about writing fiction is, you can come up with almost anything and it can be as crazy, as scary or as insane as you wish! I have a lot of dark stuff which I have in my mind and I would just love to get it onto the printed page! Good luck with your own writing. Andrew

I'm writing two at the moment. One's science fiction (with, yes, some time travel stuff in it) while the other is fantasy. Two very diferent styles, so I can write them in lots o diferent moods!

Probably some post-modernistic writing. Something about the depravity of man, social inadequancies, people in general.

if i was going to write a book, which i have tried and failed a couple of times (lol), then it would probably be in the category of non-fiction. I would probably choose to write an informative guide, say on a video game, creating websites and movies, travel guides or something i am very familiar with. You didn't tell us what kind you would write, so what would you choose rodveiga? happy myLotting from Australia's one and only jackisdeadly!

I write several computer guides, programming tutorials and technical stuff. But, once, when my oldest son was quite a baby, I wrote a children book. Never published but sometimes I make a copy and offer it to a friend, specially if that friend has a child.

I would write a crime drama type of novel set in a film noir type of setting. and every character has some degree of sociopath mentality, and plenty of violence to add a dash of dark concepts.

Non-fiction would have to be it. It would be nice to write about something that played a poignant part in human history yet was totally ignored by the world.
