I´m so tired of people asking me that! Is it really that incredible for a woman of mixed "races" and a white nordic man to have children that are blond, blue eyed and fair skin? I hate going out with my son because of all the staring people, I feel like a monkey in the zoo :-(

Hi Ivianca, welcome to mylot dear and I hope you have a very happy stay here with us. Well, I think it is because the culture of societies. In my country we have a mixed people so it isn't important what the skin color of the mother or the child. We see different skin colors between mothers and children all the time. But some societies don't see this many times so it is strange for them. I think they don't ask you in the wrong way it is only that they don't have the use to see it. Luckly it is changing and mixed people from all the world are having contact more and more. Don't worry about it and go out with your kid proudly. It is a matter of time only. Have a nice day.

Thanks for your welcome :-) People here in scandinavia are more used to interracial children that looks less scandinavian than my son and thats why the find him almost like a "freak of nature" :-( And some people makes comments that really hurts. I come from the dominican republic and have a mixed dad and a white, blond and blue eyed mom, and that´s how my whole family looks like, dark, white and in between :-)

Wow, you are right that is incredibly offensive. I have learned not to be surprised by how stupidly people will react to anything. Still, I am sorry to hear that people are so impolite to you and that you feel this way. I wish I could offer some advice but I really don't know what I could say.
