Most of my husbands money is gone before it gets to us with the modern wonder of direct debits for gas, electric, mortgage, insurance ect.Entertainment comes under something we used to have in the dim and distant past.It is not all bad though we don't really mind, the only person who gets out is me with a friend every now and again. When you have kids paying the bills is the most important thing.Keeping a stroppy teenager takes all your efforts especially when we both seem to spend all this time and effort on this person who expects everything from two useless people called his parents he does not seem to like us much.Never mind all that ,I have let off steam back to your answer.Food is the next thing and then anything left goes on petrol and running the car and our precious holidays in our caravan,we could probably be quite wealthy if we did not have the holidays but that would be an awful life if you did not have fun, money in the bank and all sitting their bored stiff not for us.

Sounds like you have taken what could be a a difficult situation and made it work. You obviuosly have a budget and you work at it taking out the essentials first and lower priorities come in second.

I get paid every two weeks and my husband gets a check once a month. Our bills are due at different times of the month and they take priority so we always pay them before even considering anything else. Some of them are credit cards so keeping them paid off gives us extra funds available for emergencies...or entertainment.

Right now, the paycheck goes like this for us: 1.) Bills. We gotta make sure we're current on everything, so that means making sure that everything is paid for, like our loans, credit cards, and other bills. Those usually take up the majority of the checks. 2.) Needs (groceries, toiletries, etc). Then it's about eating and making sure we've got everything else we need, like gas or other needs for the house. 3.) Savings. My wife and I put away a little every check to save for things and/or emergencies or unseen expenses. 4.) Fun. Lastly, my wife and I like to make sure we've got a little to enjoy our lives, maybe a nice dinner out or a movie night. Just a little something to make sure we can get out and relax a little bit.

Hi! What do you mean? After I get paid here at myLot, or after I get paid from my regular job? Well, the money I get after every payout here at myLot, I keep until the amount gets bigger in my Paypal account. Same goes for my other earnings from Ciao and ReviewStream. As far as my full-time job is concerned, after I get my pacheck, the very first thing I do is pay my bills (rent, gas/electricity bills, cable/internet, credit card bills, etc). Then, I buy my groceries and if there's some money left, I buy clothes. Happy myLotting!

pay whatever bills I have to pay. I use to take it and go out to buy something for myself, or go out to eat with friends, but now I'm just trying to save as much as I can.
