I need Windows Media Player's playlist too for my phone. All tags appear the way i want it when i use Windows Media Player. Winamp's playlist is kind of different so i don't use it much.

Windows Media Player. I don't like having alot of crud downloaded on my computer, and WMP works just fine.

Windows Media Player, and I'm actually using it right now. :) Why I prefer this one, I'm not exactly sure. Just because.

i would choose windows media player. firstly because it comes with every windows operating system, the others don't. you have to download them. Even if i did have the other applications, i would still use windows media player because it's set as my default player and i am not inclined to change it.

Ah huh. I agree with you Jedi. I'm used to using Windows Media Player too because it compiles my music exactly the way i want it to be without really making too many folders and sub folders.

Itune's interface is ok too though i'm not sure if it's customizable like Windows Media Player. There are lots of add-ons available for this program.

I used itunes, Windows Media Player, and a DVD. I use it if I cannot play the music or movie in some player. As of today I mostly use itunes.

It seems like there are more and more Itunes users these days. I guess Ipod contributed alot.

Exactly! and that will just prompt them to make their applications even better. Competition is healthy hehe..

Maybe their software are getting better and still getting better. Maybe also some people are riding on the trend now a days. Me I just trying the itunes and I'm comfortable using this kind of player. Competition are getting hotter.

I like Media Player because I can do some simple stuff with it. I like iTunes because I can buy stuff and podcasts download to my Media Player too. iTunes is a little cumbersome when it comes to making playlists because they catagorize music differently.

Yeah! Itunes is great for Ipod users. I don't own one aside from the fact that Itunes if kind of heavy on my computer so i opted to use Windows Media Player instead.

I prefer itunes. It has lot of features, though a bit complex than the others but still prefer this one. May be coz it is helpful in loading songs on my ipod!

Yeah Itunes got this cool Album cover slider just like in iphone. The look and feel of Itunes is superior.

After reading this discussion, I remembered that my friend gave me an install file for Winamp. I installed the program and instantly began liking it. o_o I've been using iTunes for a long time now, mostly because I have an iPod. However, I frequently have problems and lag with it, and I don't really like it. It's probably because my computer sucks, but my experience with it hasn't been the best. I've tried Windows Media Player for a while but continued using iTunes (because of my iPod). I didn't see anything wrong with it, but I didn't see anything special that would want to make me switch. Today, I tried Winamp, and it's amazing. o_o It looks good, there's no lag at all and I find it easy to organize my songs. I decided to switch. =P In my opinion, I guess all three programs are good, depending on your computer - they're just organized differently. The differences in song playback are minor, I think, and it's just a matter of what you're accustomed to and what your computer is comfortable with handling.

Winamp has been around for quite some time now maybe it needs a little innovation because other players are beginning to outplay Winamp.

my favorite music player has to be winamp, because it synchs up with ipod without having to use itunes. however, i admit that winamp doesnt have a burn or rip feature within the program, that i leave up to windows media player, so its not much of a tie. winamp for the win.

Correct me if i'm wrong but i think Winamp now provides burn/rip functionality. I'm not sure where but you just have to check out the functions of winamp, i'm sure it's there.

I use both Itunes and Media Player. I find media player much more easier to load on my computer and simpler to find music. Itunes has lots of useful functions but majority of the times I never use them.

Winamp is the BEST music player on windows, Itunes is just crap compared to it, it runs in the background and allows for global keyboard short cuts Itunes should just have a streaming Daemon so I wouldn't have to use the winamp plugin or enable the silly disk use mode for the winamp plugin to work.

Winamp is probably my favorite music player. It used to be Real Player, but Real Player has not been as good lately. As far as my best full purpose media player, none of them. My favorite media player is VideoLan Client. You just can't beat it. It just seemly plays everything.

For me I used to like RealPlayer that was cool, but now I'm starting to like Itunes player. Windows Media and Winamp I'm not that thrilled about.
