Ok so here is the deal. A few months ago Shilo chewed on my laptop's power cord. I taped it up with electrical tape and everything was working fine...... till yesterday. My laptop was not getting any power and would not come out of hibernation. Well I finally got it out of hibernation tonight and have it clothespinned in a certain position to the tv diner tray I have the laptop on. This is just till tomorrow when I will go to the pc store and hopefully get a new cord. What is the most ridiculous rigging you have ever done to get something to work?

Oh this is a good one. I was just talking about this car I owned a long time ago. When we bought the car it would start right up but the accelerator was broke so the car would only go about 20 miles an hour. I got the idea to tie a piece of clothesline rope to the accelerator under the hood and to feed it through the driver side window where I would pull on it to make the car go faster and let it loose to slow it down. That wasn't the only problem the car had though. The windshield wipers would not work. Most of the time we just stayed home when it was raining but one day we just had to go somewhere. Once again I took a length of the clothesline rope and tied one end to the driver side wiper. Then I ran the rope across the dash and out the passenger window and tied the other end to the passenger side wiper. When it rained the passenger had to pull the rope from side to side to move the wipers over the windshield. This is a true story and it worked. Of course now if a cop saw you doing that sort of thing he would give you a huge ticket.

Well that sounds like a really dangerous vehicle. Hope you didn't have it for very long. Great story though.
