What are the top 3 things on your Christmas wish list?

There are people who can't figure out what to give you this Christmas. I, for one, am making a shopping list that will not be done until a few days before D-Day. If you are to make a Christmas wish list that you can show your friends and relatives, what will the top 3 items be?
It should be for you. It should be something tangible. No World Peace answer, ok. That's something I also want but it can't be wrapped up in a present.
If anyone cares to check what I want, my list will include the following:'
1. A new DVD writer for my netbook.
2. 1TB hard disk drive.
3. A plug and play prepaid modem.

Thank you for the chance to dare to dream! I'm sitting here going through the list of things in my head and it's kind of hard to pick out something that isn't a necessity. But I am getting there.
The top three: First a new Notebook computer. I've had this one for 4 years and it is kind of out dated.
Second, Keys to a new used vehicle. My car was repossessed in September and I really need a car.
Third, 6000 Lotto tickets. Maybe I'd win more than two dollars

I'm with you on the lotto ticket! I haven't tried joining the lottery but it sure sounds fun if you have 6000 or more combination that could hopefully bring home the dough. :P Good luck with the notebook. You may want your parents to know you want one. It might give them an easier time in the shopping. ;)

I hope they read this...my Christmas would be made complete simply if I manage to get my student loan! That takes care of the car and the computer. They can do the lotto tickets! LOL

Actually, there are only 2 things I want this christmas...and if they are all I got I would be the happiest person on earth. The number 1 thing is my own dog, but I don't see that happening. Even though that would be a completely free gift for my parents to get me (I told them all they had to do was give me the okay and I would pay for everything--incuding adoption fee). But they don't want another animal in the house. The second thing I want is a NordiTrak exercise bike my older sister has...It's really fun and easy to read while you use it, so I would like it. But my mom already said no for that too...so i really don't know what else I want.

The dog is usually a subject of discussion in the household before you can get one. Of course, there are a lot of other obligations involved. The bike, I'm guessing, will be a much easier bargain with your folks. Anyway, I really do hope you get both. Merry Christmas! :)

I defeniatly understand the obligations as a pet owner :D Since i was little I've kind of kept "upgrading" my pets. First I would always have fish and rats(great pets)/hamsters...then about 4 years ago I got my first at cat (rescued her from outside) and I still have her. Now I want to try with a dog. I don't want ot get a puppy; I want a dog that is already trained in the basics, so there are some things I wouldn't have to worry about(behaivor training, potty training). Plus, I want a dog that already knows how to live with people, and already has a set personality :D

Oh my, sounds like you already know what kind of dog you want. That will give you a better chance in getting your wish. Pick one that you already like and raise the specific proposal to mommy dearest. Might work. (crossing fingers)

1.I would love to get Cornel West's latest book, Hope on a Tightrope. I haven't read his earlier works, but I am a bit interested in this book. I just cannot get it because I'm not working or getting unemployment so things are tight. I sure would.
2.A Blackberry Flip phone. I have been researching stuff and though my daughter feels it's not worth it, I still would like one. If not a Nokia 5310.
3.an Ipod Touch.

The Hope on a Tightrope book sounds appropriate for the season. As for the phone, I'd go with your daughter's instinct. The younger they are, the more savvy they seem. Or probably, that's her telling you she wants the phone on her wish list.

If I could decide on three presents I would choose a new digital camera, either Fuji or Olympus, with a great zoom on it. The next present I would like would be Microsoft Windows for my to put on my laptop. The third present that I would like would be a double memory foam top for the mattress on my bed.
My sister did indeed ask for world peace one year. I told her it would be impossible to gift wrap. Each one of us would be delighted to get that present for Christmas. A dog is for life not just for Christmas it the idea it would have to be.

Wow! I want your list. I also want a new digital camera as mine is a hand-me-down from my sister which is to say it's at the 3.2 megapixel range.
I used to say world peace a lot because there were Christmases I also didn't know what to ask for. But now I know. I just hope they read this page.

I'd definitely wanna have a new pair of shoes. With 3 teenage boys in the household, it's lucky enough that I could buy one for myself. And those teenage basketball shoes doesn't come cheap. I also wanna have a brand new wrist watch. The one I own now doesn't tell the correct time anymore. And a brand new car please... *sigh* Merry Christmas :)
