Do you give names to your pillows?

I'm not really that attached to my pillows even when I was still a kid. I am attached to my stuff toy cow though, that counts right? I use him for a pillow sometimes. His name is Jong Junior, after my boyfriend.

when i was a kid, i used treat my pillows as my pets, friends and playmate...it sounds silly but true. I used to treat them as humans and play with them. My mum once think i'm weird because sometimes i would cuddle my pillows and talk to them....and i don't do that to my other stuffed toys or teddies...

that's really cute! i had never heard of this before. i wonder if other kids do this? i remember living in humid Florida and flipping the pillow to the COOL side because it made sleeping easier and felt good against my face. i remember being rather attached to my stuffed animals to the point that i cried the day i had to throw Mr Bunny into the dumpster at the commands of my mother. he had been a part of me since i was a baby chewing on his ear.

ohhh, I have not given names to my pillows, not since I was a kid... Maybe it's fun to do that for a kid.

Well this is a cool idea if you want to freak out anyone who will be doing a slumber party in your bedroom, I have two pillows and I'll name them with my 2 exes. lol

I never named a pillow. I did have my "rubbery blanket" because the satin like edges were nice to "rub" on, but it was more of a discription rather than a "name." I don't recall anyone if the family naming pillows, toys yes, pillows - no.

I have never heard of any children naming their pillows. Maybe this is because we always had a family pet or two while I was growing up. Needless to say, as an adult I don't name my pillows, either... I still do have pets, though.

I never gave names to my pillows, never thought about it until now when I just read your discussion, but since we name our teddies etc I can't see any we can't name our pillows. Well done on bringing it up

when we were kids, we use our fancy imagination a lot. hehe. i have never named my pillow. i just call it pillow.

No, I have never named my pillows. I am always getting new pillows so there is no need for me to name them.
