I hate getting my salary check,too many bills and too many sob stories !!!!!

You work for an entire month,it should be a pleasure to get paid but for me it is not.I get an headache instantly.This headache stems from the fact that no matter how I add it even if I say 2+2 = 1 ,I still wont have trouble making my salaries pay for my bills and leave anything for saving.The bills are bad and I somehow manage to deal with those but what I cant handle is how many sob stories I will hear from my friend and relatives at just around the this time. The first sob story I got was from a cousin I hadnt heard from in a long while.He suddenly decided to look for me and he brought his kids as well and believe me I love his kids.He told me that he was being summoned before the court for some kind of child maintainance and he didnt know how was going to get there.Indirectly he was looking some money to borriw without saying so,I made a mental resolution that I would lend him some money .I guess he wasnt convinced that I would do do so,he launched into another sob story about how he hadnt eaten in a while and I supsect niether has his kids, so I prepared a meal for them.Still not conviced that I was convinced of the story ,he had his little girl ask me for a a dollar bill,it was at that point I gave him some money. Next came my friend who was having the usual cash flow problems and needed money to borrow to pay his mortgage .This time he was in a taxi and lost a significant amount of money as he was rushing to catch a store.Last month it was his daughter that needed a dress to go to her graduation ball. And so began the long list of sob stories and with each one my money became less and less as sometimes I am unable to say no.The ironic thing is if I was in the same position there is no one to help me out of a bind.
