Sharing about religion and church activities

How often do you go to church in a week? When I was a kid till I was on my early teens, we used to go to church every sunday on the middle of the night while two oclock on the dawntime, and every wednesday at twelve oclock noontime while two oclock on the afternoon, and friday night from six on the evening till nine oclock at night then on saturday from four oclock in the morning till six oclock on the evening we can have breakfast and lunchbreak for only an hour for the whole day of saturday. I am glad I am not a member of that religion anymore, it was just too much and boring, now I feel like I am freed from jail! If you are not a church goer, what is your opinion or reason why you don't go?

Holy Cow!!?? What religion is that? It's not the amount of time you spend in church which would prove your faith or belief and from any angle that religion is just too much. I am a catholic and it is only on Sundays and holidays of Obligation that we are required to attend mass and that is once a day. You are right to be glad not to be a member of that religion anymore. I am a churchgoer because i believe that at least one day of the week is set aside for the Lord.

Have you heard about a religion whose people who go to their church are wearing white dresses or clothes? Well, that's what they did, and I swear I will never go back to that religion anymore. We were not even allowed to eat meat or anything that breathed and bleeds, totally vegetables. Some people who turned their back on that religion they said, that they were hypnotised and good job their spirit fights against it so they are free from that religion now.

That's carrying religion too far. Even the bible recognizes that animals are source of meat which serves as food. Wearing white dresses to church does not in any way add to your holiness or spirituality. It is just a human imposition. good for you you did not tolerate such a religion.

I often go to church for our activities such as choir and BEC facilitator. Aside from saturday and sunday. On my weekdays schedule 3x a week at every 7 o'clock in the evening and saturday at 5pm again at 7pm for the anticipated mass. On sunday we sing as choir at 6:30am 10:am for grand choir practice and at 4pm for another choir at mass. I am busy at my churchj activities. I love to do all of this because I was happy to serve the Lord by means of my church activities. Aside from this I have a regular prayer meeting every thursday. I never feel any tiredness of doing all of my activities. Actually if we are practicing our choir at night usually we go home at midnight almost 12am near at dawn. I'm still happy doing this.

That's great that you active especially in your church activities, you are pleasing God and the people in that church. Not many people can do what you can and can devote themselves to God like you do, and devote their time as well. You are blessed having that courage and enthusiasm, keep up the good works and God will bless you more each and everyday.

I believed I belong to some kind of a cult religion, but I was not mature enough to understand things before I was just following what my family were doing otherwise I will be beaten if I will not go to church with them. That church is still standing nowadays in Mindanao, and people are wearing white clothes during the church services.

I try to go to church as often as I could. My mother has always been a church goer and I guess, I got the habbit already. Without being told upon I usually visit the church and pray there. It becomes a haven of sort.
