I am having another big family christmas dinner. I was just woundering how many people here are planning a big family dinner? I will have somewhere between 17 and 22 people here for supper. I will be cooking 2 turkeys a ham and all the fixings. Any one else planning something like this?

I usually always have Christmas dinner at my place for my family. My family is not very large and dinner will probably consist of 8-12 people. I will cook a ham with pineapple, beans, potatoes, fried corn hopefully from the past garden of my inlaws, and dressing. The great thing is my aunt will bring with her deviled eggs, slaw, and a bananna pudding and my mother cranberry sauce, rolls, and whipped cream pies. I am not sure if anyone else will bring anything or not but that sure sounds like a filling dinner for no more people than we will have.

That does sound great. It is so nice that other people will help you by bringing stuff.

There will be probably 8-10 people here for Christmas dinner this year. I am not sure if one of my brothers and his wife are coming or not. They usually rotate on which holidays they come down. My other brother and his wife will not be here since they will have a newborn baby at home that would not enjoy the long car ride I am sure.

I really like having a dinner here. Although it does get crowded at times...LOL. It is worth it.
