http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27983458/ apparently some people think that we spend too much money on aids awareness and need to spend that money on other diseases etc.. im sorry but i dont think we should stop anything we are already doing.. its still a big problem and doesnt have a cure yet so why should we stop now?? yeah there are a lot of other health problems that need attention and etc and thats horrible but i fear that if we back off on what we are already doing then aids will grow again.. just because we have got it under better control (and i say that in meaning its not as bad as it was but i think its still bad) doesnt mean the problem is solved... GRR!! what do you guys think? do you think there are other health problems that are being neglected?? which ones would like to see be more popular??

i donot think the campaign about aids is overblown.ofcourse there are differents school of thought but they should also increase the awareness for cancer and tuberculosis.

I think it's a bit controversial. Some people probably think it's overblown because it's the person's fault for getting AIDS, and that other diseases are airborne. Then again, if you look at it in a different light, AIDS is a huge deal because it's killing a lot of people. So, I guess it really depends on your perspective. AIDS needs to be cured, but to some people, they think that there are other diseases that need to be treated first, as AIDS is preventable.

i think a lot of people havent been faced with it or known anyone with it so maybe they dont understand the impact.. im thinking mostly in the view of how many people its killing when education could prevent it.. if we dont talk about it as much some people may just either forget about it or not want to think about it till its too later etc
