What makes a man successful?

Success is defined differently by many different people. The meaning of success also varies from culture to culture. For some success is to be alive the next day and for some it is to make millions of dollars within a week. For me success is to be on top in the world of badminton. Of course financial freedom plays a pivotal role in making a man successful but it is just a means to an end and not end in itself. Pour in your thoughts about success and what does success mean to you.

Success for me means satisfaction in everything, be it on physical, moral, intellectual or spiritual. It is the complete attainment of your goal.It is waking up everyday being fulfilled and happy. It is the capability of a person to have a good relation to other person and to God. It is knowing what is the real purpose of your existence on earth.I believe that if a man knows why is he existing, then he will have no reason to complain. Everyone of us has our own purpose in life. And when we finally realized that purpose then I can say that we are successful.

I agree with you wholeheartedly on every aspect of your response. Yes, once we know the real purpose of our existence in this world the life would be exponentially happier than it is now. And if spirituality is also a part of our success we will be the pioneers in proving the cliche wrong...You know that, don't you..."Every successful man has a sin which he is ashamed of." Well, thank you for you time and for such a beautiful response.
