I believe god listens to our prayers and I put my trust in the lord but today I am scared because my 14 year old was diagnosed with a complex ovarian cyst 5cm in size. The doctor is waiting for 2 weeks to do another ultrasound and I just read that it is ok for a normal cyst but not for a complex cyst. She is in alot of pain. I have been praying and I truely trust god but I am still really afraid. Do you always trust in God or do you sometimes worry?

I also have a daughter thus I know how you feel. God reveals His plans in the most unusual way, far beyond any human mind can project. You may not understand His plans now but keep on trusting Him. I will pray for you so that He will give you the strength that can give strength to your daughter. I will also pray that He will never let go of your hand and carry you through this very rough time. God bless you always!

We all need to put our trust in God... especially in situations like this... because only He can determine what the outcome is... i hope that this cyst is just a normal one... your daughter is still too young to face a complex cyst that might change her whole life forever... so my prayers are with you... Stay strong... and never lose faith...

Praying to God and believing in Him are there but worrying for my child is completely different…I’m after all a mother. So definitely I would hope and pray that your child gets well soon and do keep us posted on the updates.

Im sorry for what your child is going through right now. this is just God's trial for you. all things happening to us, good or bad, these are just God's trial for us. This is His way on how are we going to stick on our faith to Him. Just pray and never question him. just keep your faith in Him.

We should always trust in God because He is always in control. I pray your daughter's cyst is ok. I have cysts on my ovaries almost all of the time and seems like I am constantly getting an ultrasound done to see if they go away and they usually do. God loves your daughter and He will take care of her. I will remember her in my prayers. God bless you!

Hello ladybug. I am so sorry that your 14 year old was diagnosed with a complex ovarian, but I don't think that you need to be nervous about it because my sister-in-law had the same case and she was cured with an operation. I wish your child all the best with my sincere prayer for her. Take care, friend.

Having a daughter of my own, I can understand your feelings. If only we parents could take on the illnesses and pain of our children! But, God does hear our prayers, and I will be praying for your daughter. But I think I'd be getting the opinion of another doctor since she is in so much pain. This could be complications from endometriosis. My granddaughter had problems almost from the start of her period at 11, and by the time she was your daughter's age, she had already seen a DR because of serious periods and pain. Come to find out she already had endometriosis starting and had to be put on medication. From what I've been reading, your daughter could be experiencing a cyst from this and they are very painful. Or, it could be like this on: "The final type of complex ovarian cyst develops from ovarian tissue. These cystadenomas are usually filled with a watery liquid or mucous and have the potential to grow to be very large – up to 12 or more inches in diameter. Such a large cyst will result in your ovary becoming twisted and excruciatingly painful." http://www.rupturedovariancyst.com/Complex_Ovarian_Cysts.html

It is perfectly normal for a parent to worry. I only have one child, a daughter. She got really sick one day and was deathly white and couldn't eat. Her stomach and back was hurting her really bad. I took her to the emergency room and she found out that she had a ruptured cyst on her ovary and that she was 6 weeks pregnant. She was sick during her pregnancy. This past Thursday she had surgery to remove precancerous cells from her cervix. She will find out in two weeks what level the cells were. She found out she had these problems when she was diagnosed with HPV when she had her yearly pap smear. Just keep on praying for your daughter. God does really work in mysterious ways. He will take care of you and your daughter. When you get to feeling really scared and afraid, which is only human, ask God to give your strength and he will. Take care of yourself, your daughter needs you.

Prayer sent. It sounds like you are doing the right things. Do as much as you can and let the doctors do what they can, and know that whatever the outcome it is in Gods hands. Beast of luck, and God Bless.

Yes, God listens to all of our prayers, so when you and your daughter trust the Lord with all your heart, just claim that she is healed and it will happen, you worrying is normal because that is your child and you love her very much, but have faith and pray harder, God will make a way, when there seems to be no way, he works in ways we can not see... Surely he will make a way... always remember that. I will pray for you and daughter... God bless...

Absolutely true. The Lord puts us through trial so that we get so strong that we will be able to take life as it comes and also get closer to him.
