The role of "Mark best response", if don't marked best response,what will happen

Like the title, and I don't find the answer from mylot.com helpfile about the mark best response.

Your discussions become unresolved and they just sit there. If you mark best responses then your discussions become resolved. You want to make sure to rate people, and mark a best response at least 2 weeks or so after the discussion it helps you with people responding to your discussions, and getting friends and just being a decent person here on mylot. I dont know if it affects your money or not. I wouldnt think so but you can ask mylot.

If somebody has mark best response, but find the other better response later. How to mark the better response be the best response?

You cant change it once you have marked it. Thats why you wait a few weeks or so and make sure no one else is responding to the discussion.
