how do you stop your mind from wondering

I find it pretty difficult to keep my mind on a particular project, i always want to be everywhere which i know is impossible.I want to be able to stay focus,what do i need to do?

I think you should set aside some time each day to meditate. It will help you build up your ability to focus and help you become more disciplined. It's not hard to do. Sit on a chair with your back straight, place your feet flat on the floor, close your eyes and focus on breathing through your nose. If your mind starts to wander then return your attention to your breath - your mind will wander and it will be frustrating but keep trying, over time it will get better. I do this for 15 minutes each day and when I started I was like you, I couldn't focus on anything, but over time I improved and meditation helped me greatly. Also, don't try to meditate for too long when you start out- even a minute a day will benefit you and gradually increase this time. Good luck!
