Do you drink the recommended amount of water daily for your body size?

I never used to drink water. My mom hated water and never made us drink it. As I've gotten older, I try to drink as much water as possible. It is still hard for me to drink more than a few glasses every day. Many things I have read say you should strive to drink 8 - 11 glasses of water daily for optimum health. Do you drink that much?

I have been drinking a lot more recently. I tend to get dehyrdrated a lot, and dehydration can actually cause bad effects on blood sugar. So I try to always make sure I am hydrated now. But I don't always just drink plain water. I drink a few glasses of Crystal Light every day. I don't always enjoy plain water. I always drink a couple of big glasses when I am working out and another one when I am finished to replenish my fluids. I have also been drinking a glass before bed. The rest of the day I drink Crystal Light, and sometimes diet soda, but I am trying to cut back on the diet soda.

I drink a lot of Crystal Lite, which is just water and mix. I drink about a pitcher a day. So I get most of my water that way. I also work out at least a couple of times a week, when ever I work out I usually drink 2 32 oz glasses of water, which is about 6 cups right there.

I get frequent kidney stones, so I am required to drink lots of water every day to keep the calcium from building up in my system. I drink water all day long, but I am really not sure how much I drink, when my glass gets empty I get more. I sip all day long, so it is hard to say, but I am sure that I get the required amount, and possibly even more.

My average water intake per day is 6 glasses. I really try to reach 8-10 glasses but I usually don't make it. As I get to doing more work-outs at the gym I probably will. And in warmer weather I do as well.

I drink a lot of water. It's my favorite drink. I also need a lot of water living in the desert. I drink a lot of coffee and tea in winter, plus 6-8 glasses of tap water. In summer I drink about 15-20 glasses of water. Even more if I'm outside.

I have never counted the glasses of water that I drink but it must be loads and loads as I'm always filling my tumbler up. I drink water while I work on the phone, if I get a long call I need to sip my water and plus the cup of tea always goes cold

No. I usually average about 6-8 glasses a day. I am trying to remember to drink more. I get into my writing and then I forget and do not drink as much as I should.

You need to remember that the recommendations for your size are actually in the measurement of cups. Like the actual ONE CUP MEASURING CUP. When people say glass, a glass is usually bigger than ONE CUP. Personally, water is basically the only beverage I drink. I drink skim milk sometimes too. But I drink more water in a day than anyone I know :) I want to keep track of it ounce for ounce sometime hehehe

I drink water very much AS it is necessary for health. A person cannot live without a water for a weak. Your body will be sucked if have not sufficient supply of water or you not want to drink water. Our body fibres will remain activa as long as there is specific amount of water in our body..
