Ok so Im just wondering back in the day's growing up there were little tips and tricks my mom did when we were sick and so now day's it seems like I am forgetting allot of them. I know that asprin works great on allot of things, and I research allot of natural cures for things and have found allot of great stuff, like viniger is great for the skin, and baking soda is great on cleaning the toilet. What tips and tricks do you carry on from your family or do you just run to the doctor for him to resolve the problems. Do you buy household chemicals or use natural remedies for cleaning.

I try and avoid chemicals as much as possible. I can't even remember the last time I went to a doctor. For cleaning I use green products that are safe for gray water so it can also be used on my garden. Vinegar is also a great natural cleaning agent. Very similar to bleach only not so harsh. Lemon and honey tea fixes most of our colds and runny noses and failing that good old fashioned steam and eucalyptus. Bicarbanated soda is also good for heat rashes and corn starch can be used on nappy rash or chaffing skin. I think it is much better to give our bodies a chance to fight things off as in the long run it helps build immunity

Both!!! Though I don't run to the doctor much. I prefer to find answers for myself instead of paying a high price for office call and prescriptions. Peppermint is good for indigestion. I buy otc cortisone in low dosage, it is very good for itchy skin. I put a blob of the cortisone in the palm of my hand and about 3 times as much hand lotion, mixing them together well. I even use this on my face. Corn starch brushed through the hair is a good 'dry' cleaner. It is good to be able to use the computer to research lots of home cures and the computer. Just have to be careful to not take everything as the truth, lots of scams and misinfo out there.

Hi friend, It all depends upon the disease that gets in our family. If it is not a high priority one than we take natural remedies otherwise we buy chemicals first inorder to decrease the infection first, after slowly we go for natural remedies to decrease the whole infection. Have a nice day
