Do you like anime and manga best or western cartoons and comic books?

I really like the older manga from the early 90s and mid 80s like akira. I also really like the older anime which is hand drawn from before all the computer graphics and animation. Quite liked the new interpretations of the titan comics cartoons. However there is a total lack of blood in these which makes no sense. Also quite like family guy and the simpsons when it was on.

I prefer anime and manga to Western cartoons and comic books. Anime and manga just have so much more plot and I personally like the way they are drawn more. I just find American comic books boring, and they usually just have the common theme of super heroes, villains, super hero always defeats the villain, etc, usually targeted a males while mangas have more of a variety of genres, action, comedy, romance, etc that can be appealing to both males and females. Anime has more plot than its Western counterpart, and is a lot more interesting to watch in my opinion.

I'm an avid fan of anime. Usually, I get to watch the anime version first of a certain series before I realize that there is an existing manga of the show. I watch Western shows, too. But between anime and Western, I'd choose anime (and manga). n.n

i love anime much better than western cartoons, though i have to admit there are few western cartoons that i like and think are pretty good. the amount of good anime definately out ways the amount of good western cartoons.

I really prefer to watch anime and read japanese manga,because of those,today Japan is my favorite country.I think is a big difference between anime and cartoons,especially because the graphic!

I like both manga and comics, though recently I've come to resent how Marvel, DC, and certain popular manga/anime kill off characters needlessly all for the sake of "Drama."

Japan Banzai!! Anime and manga are way better. I do watch American cartoons about I only watch those from Disney, Pixars and Dreamworks. As for batman and spiderman, I have no interests at all. I read them before but the art is not as good as manga.

I prefer reading manga to watching western cartoons or even watching japanese cartoons. The variety is in mangas -even if its a chinese or korean one. When i was younger i used to watch superman, spidername, x-men and such. But compared to the large and long series of manga and anime, its no competition.

its beter to watch than to read the manga. spiderman is much better, the simpsons not that much, its a little bit boring.
