How many times you eat everyday?

Obesity have become a main problem in our society. How many times a day of eating is adequate for a person to stay slim and be healthy of course?

i used to eat 2-3 times a day.. no rice, half cooked or raw vegetables.. i used to take sit ups or take a walk before going to bed.. and at morning i dont really eat breakfast, but i will have 2-3 meals after that...

Not eating breakfast isnot good, because you need breakfast to give you energy for the whole day activities you do. Eat less atnight because you are less active at night and when you sleep,the digestion work more slower. That's what doctors tell me.

I skip breakfast sometimes. I know its not healthy but if your not hungry its unhealthy to force yourself to eat.

It is not how many meals a day you have but how many calories you eat in a day compared to how many calories you burn in a day. If you do absolutely nothing all day long, just sitting and reading for example the you probably burn about 1900 calories so to stay slim you cannot afford to eat more than that in a day. Most people are much more active than that and most would burn 2500 plus calories a day so as long as you eat 3 meals a day and keep the portions in control you should have no problems. People become over weight because they eat foods like mcdonalds and kfc which contain thousands of calories and lots of fat. Another good one is Gloria Jeans Coffees. You can have a 1000 calorie iced coffee at that shop and have no idea that you have just drunk half your daily calorie intake. Fast food places are dangerous for people who want to stay slim.

I agree that fast food and junk food is not good for health. A good healthy lifestyle also depends on the frequency and amount people eat. Excessive intake and less active can lead to obesity indeed.

i eat about 3-4 times a day and when i feel hungry. To stay healthy i would say breakfast is a must and the most important meal of the day, followed by lunch.. if you are dieting, you can have a lighter dinner. Sometimes i have supper or some light snacks (maybe an apple) before going to bed..

Actually I eat many times in one day, my breakfast was coffee and bread with peanut butter, then after maybe at 9 am I feel hungry again and eat noodles, I do lunch at 11 am, then I look in our fridge what I can eat at 2 pm, then 6 pm I drink again small cup of coffee with 1 small biscuit,then last I eat fruits... lol don't shock all I eat are small quantity, I can't put to much food in my stomach in one time, I have small appetite and also i having a fast digestive. Actually I'm so healthy and slim...

I will not say how much I eat. I am slim but I eat more than I should. I am trying to control that and reduce it. I will say I eat more in the evening and less in the morning.

I think eating smaller meals through out the day is very good for a person. I try to have a good and substancial breakfast and then eat small meals the rest of the day. I have read alot of articles that say this is healthy.

I eat a good breakfast, a small snack for dinner, than I eat a large supper and a small snack before bed.
