this problem is due to fluctuating system of IC,s of buttons of your monitor. They are no more responding well. your screen will automattically brightened or darkened. all you need is to diagonase your monitor from a technician. Sometimes it occurs due to inapporiate power supply of monitor. Power in the internal circuits could be major problem.....

Okay, let me give this a try. The PC that I am on is DSL. It's also my son's so we share. Lately it's been running slow. I think that his memory is just about used up and I know that he knows how to take care of that, but he's a procrastinator. Now recently, I've noticed that when I am on the phone there is air sound. Like the PC and the phone line aren't connecting right? The PC seems to be lagging. It gets slower than it's norm when I hang up the phone then goes back to the slowness that I'm becoming use to. Do you have any idea what the problem could be? DCMerkle

Thx for reply :) Does ur DSL line come thru tel line ? You say wen u r on ur phn whole pc lags ... n there is a voice u hear on phn .. m i right ? How will memory of PC will b affected by phn ? :-S I hve seen tht talkin on phn near ur PC creates prob on Monitor n u hear some voice on ur own phn. But i dint experienced the lag u r tokin abt. N this prob was bcoz wenever u bring ur phn near ur PC there will b conflict b.w the rays in ur monitor n the signals ur phn emits .... so may b tht may b the case in urs too ... I dunt thnk phn will affect the comps memory .. i accept it can disturb ur monitor ... n u hear sm voice....

I'm having an issue with my tab key being stuck on my PC laptop. I don't have to touch they tab key and it'll keep tabbing to the next field rapidly. I can't type anything because every time I try to type something, it already tabbed 10 more fields. I use spreadsheets and quickbooks everyday so the tab key is extremely important to me. I tried taking it in the geek squad, had 2 people look at it and they couldn't come up with a solution. They wanted to take my keyboard out to see if anything under it was causing the problem, but they couldn't remove it without damaging. I had originally thought that if I plug another keyboard in and disable my laptop keyboard it should solve the problem temporarily, but it didn't give them the option to disable. I left the store without resolution. The only suggestion they could provide me was to have them send it in, but it would take at least 2 weeks to get it back. I can't go without my work computer for 2 weeks. My husband is a mac guy and doesn't know anything about PCs, but yet he managed to find a program that could disable a specific key and move it to another key. So for now my tab key is on F1. It's a good temp fix, but it also slows me down a lot since I'm not used to reaching that far to tab over. Any suggestions?

See your keyboard of lappy has a prob. so it will be done by either sending it to company you brought from or diable the keyboard of your lappy ... & tht should be done internally .. Just tell me wats the brand of your lappy ? with its model no. I ll try to find out a repair solution if it is available .... Another thing is try this out First go to device manager keyboard disable it( Do it on ur risk :| ) Before disabling it .. you see tabs General, driver , details , resources go to driver tab then driver details you will see what all files are installed for your keyboard drivers Go to that location & copy those files to a safe location ( Rem the path )( Probably 2-3 .sys files according to your lappy) Now after disabling it .. check if ur plug & play services are enabled Start Run services.msc Plug & Play service Should be set to automatic. Now try pluging your other keyboard to lappy using usb port .. If this doesnt works ... let me know... & tell me your lappy's Brand wid model no. OK Happy Mylotting :D
