Did You Ever See That Movie With Ric Flair In It?

It was a movie with Rowdy Roddy Piper as the main actor. I think the movie was called Bodyslam. It was kind of wierd as I didn't even hear Ric Flair say a word as he was just sitting front row as Piper was Wrestling. I think thats the only time Flair was in a movie. Am I wrong?

yes the title of the movie is indeed "bodyslam" and it was shown last 1986. i recently was able to watch the movie when it was shown in mgm classics in cable a couple of days ago. the movie is about m. harry smilac (played by dirk benedict), a down-on-his-luck music manager who is having a hard time attracting talent and booking gigs for his band, kicks (The most recent of the gigs is a dairy queen opening!!! eventually, he changed the name of the band to kick during the course of the movie, citing other bands with singular names. lol!!!). when making arrangements for a campaign fund-raiser, he mistakes quick rick roberts (played by rowdy roddy piper), a professional wrestler, for a musician and hires him. at that moment he becomes a wrestling manager and starts to book matches for rick roberts and his teammate tonga tom (played by sam fatu, another old-school wrestler). the team is a success, and harry decides to take his wrestlers and his band on a "rock n' wrestling" tour. The tour is a success, and it all culminates into the team of roberts and tonga tom winning the tag team championship belt against the samoans (played by afa and sika anoai). this team is managed by captain lou murano (played by captain lou albano).
you are correct ric flair did play himself alongside bruno sammartino, fred blassie, and sheik al kaissy. they were guests during the final match between roberts and tonga against the samoans.

Thanks for the information as I only got to see the ending of the movie for the world tag team titles. The only wrestler I remember wrestling was Piper even though I saw others such as his tag team partner but could not say what he looked like or their opponents. I kinda remember captain lou albano in the movie but not much. The only wrestler I noticed out in the crowd was Ric Flair as I was young and use to see Flair wrestle alot. I saw this movie in either 90 or 91. I didn't know much about the movie at all except the Tag Team
Title match.

glad to be able to help. anyway, another bit of trivia, dirk benedict played the character face in the popular 80's series "the a-team". not sure if you know about it but i was still a kid when it was being shown and i always made it a point to watch the show. i remember the other characters in the show like hannibal, their leader, and of course the most famous actor in the show, mr.t who played b.a. baracus (b.a. standing for bad attitude).

The only other 2 I remember being in it is of course Roddy Piper and Captain Lou Albano. Ric Flair got my attention as I had never seen him in a movie before and still have not. Being the big mouth he had in wrestling it was odd to not hear him say anything in the movie.
