It's Understandable, But Discouraging!!!

Ok, I'm very frustrated with my fellow Americans! Not that it's not warranted, but I'm totally tired of the same lame excuses why we are in our situations, "it's a scam, it's gotta be a scam, if it's asking for money, it's a scam"! WHAT??!! don't get me wrong, there are tons of scams out here on the internet, and it's hard tell; but come on, ya can't be scared all of your life! Now, if it's too good to be true, like promising thousands or millions for no work, that's pure garbage, there are limitations! But what about the very low start up, or the free stuff that pays, examples, examples! Here's what I'm talking about! Some time ago, I was doing something of a chain letter type thing, of course we here about the chain letter crap people talk about, "oh it's a scam, it's unethical", PLEASE SHUT UP! Before you open your big mouths, understand what's going on! Answer me this, if when u initiate the chain, send it out, and when someone joins, who does the money go to? YOU!! So HOW IS THIS A SCAM? Because you didn't think of it? WOW, where's the college degree for that? Now that's that, let me tell you what really pisses me off! This has happened on odesk and here, Now!! I had posted a job on Odesk for site evaluations. In the job description, i mentioned that I needed several people to visit my site, a give me feedback on the the sign up process, the content, the layout, and the advertisers sites and the same there! I also mentioned that there will be a small out of pocket expense of under $5, that I'll be reimbursing upon completion through Paypal! Now, I also informed them that I can be reached through Yahoo Messenger for questioning and help through the process! I had two actual apps form the US and the rest from India, Pakistan, and other countries! But guess who was complaining and yelling scam? Yep, US! What was that about? Then after the two US apps, they started talking! WOW! Look, this scam crap is contagious and if you don't understand or haven't looked into, ask around, research and stop talking! Same happened here! Yesterday, I posted in a discussion about working from home or outside the home! I gave a tidbit about what I do and that I'm paying, but there'll be small out of pocket of under $5, and who responded, 3 people from India! WOW!! Again, that lets me know that again, US is thinking SCAM! It is so nerve wrecking that other countries can see what we can't! other countries are actually the ones scamming us! I can give proof and you guys would still yell scam and I'm sick of it!! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GROW THEN THAT'S YOU, BUT STOP TRYING TO HALT OTHERS PROGRESS CAUSE YOU CAN'T GET PAST YOUR OWN INSECURITIES OR LOW AMBITIONS!! Taripre$

Hey what a rant!!! I guess you are really pissed. I hear what you are saying though. All of the crap that has happened over the years got us to where we are now. I feel sorry and angry for those who are growing up now. They are really lacking in the respect area. None for themselves or others you know. It's like hey if you want to do something fine go for it and if not don't be rude, running your mouth and crying wolf just respectfully decline!

Exactly my point! It's sad how people feel duped and then can't even recognize a legit opportunity when it arises! The young lady above proved my point, she said exactly what I was talking about! Not knocking her though, it's a common thing, but it just seems the US is on this. People in other countries are perfectly fine with it, but I can't do anything with them mostly, cause the sites are for the US! I'm trying to get a more targeted audience, but usually those are the people who are already doing it, but I'll keep trying! I do have a few people from here, that are willing, we'll see! Even if you want to try it out, I'll send you the info! Thanx for the response Taripre$

Its not only the paying programs that get the scam wrap. Even free to join programs get scrutinized because people don't want to believe. I am part of a program that shows people how to make $100s-$1000s weekly with no out of pocket cost. People see those numbers and automatically think its a scam because they can't conceive how it can be done. Come on!!! Just because you don't know how to do it, doesn't mean it can't be done! At least have an open enough mind to see how it is done, then determine if its right for you! If everything on the internet was a scam, then no one would sign up because they would already know. Someone has to be making money out there, because if not, even the scams wouldn't pull people in! The thing is, there is a cost for anything that will make money online. Either its going to cost money, or its going to cost time. The biggest thing people have to realize is when making a decision online, you have to determine how much of each you are able to and willing to spend. I wrote an article on helium that shows people how to determine scams from genuine opportunities. If you would like to read it go to: http://www.helium.com/knowledge/80545-how-critical-thinking-can-help-you-avoid-scams

Thank you, and I plan to add a lot more to my blog once I get some readers to it. Maybe we can do an exchange! Yeah, it is crazy how people will send money to folks sight unseen in hopes of getting money. I hate to say it, but usually its lazy people that are just trying to make a quick buck. That's a big red signal for you, if the site is saying that there is no work involved, that you won't have to recruit because of spillover, run like he*l!!! Come on, someone has to be doing some recruiting, how did you find out about it?!? But its usually those same people that have been burned too many times over those kind of scams that want to rule everything a scam. If only they would have taken the time to read, and think logically, they probably wouldn't feel so spurned and be out of so much money. Off to read your blog!!!
