what i mean is that, the educational system here in our society has becoming worse because of numerous factors. now, my question is that..in your own point of view, in what ways/ means can you say that it is really deteriorating. take for example the elementary level of education in mathematics area..thank you!

Yes the education system in the Philippines is deteriorating. Its not just because our teachers chose to pack up and leave the country to work abroad. Its also because our government doesn't really support the system. The budget of Education is but a mere chunk in the annual budget. Another reason why the educational system is deteriorating is because of the books being used by students today. Remember the textbook scandal? Up to now, there's no action being done against those books with erroneous content.

I think yes in public schools especially in remote areas, just last week I've seen in the news that millions of books are being kept and damage by some termites the government just wasted a lot of millions while in contrary they showed one public school in remote areas that they only have one textbook for the whole class. the department of education just said they don't have the travel budget for the books. And most of the students now don't respect much their teachers unlike before in the 80's or earlier or even 90's we have quality students who knows how to respect their teachers.

i think in some ways it is deteriorating. a the simple reasons that most of the teachers here in the country choose to go abroad because they believe that the compensation given to them here is not good enough to raise a family.

I hate to say this but I think its true. Educational system in the Philippines is getting worse. I saw a lot of kids studying in a public school. They graduated from grade six and yet they read really slow. Some grade 4 students doesnt know how to multiply numbers. Most Filipinos are really bad in english. I think the government should do something about this issue. Education is very important if we want to have a progressive Philippines. Filipinos are very talented and really smart. We need a good education to hone are talents and to learn more so we can be more competitive out there.
