I have done a little bit of both this year. I got my son 3 gifts online and my daughter one. There are some things I wanted to get for them that I could not find in stores or it was cheaper online.

Walmart.com is where I got most of it. I got shipping for 97 cents per item. toysrus.com was offering free shipping too.

Oh if you look hard you can save alot. Like my mom and me found a toy for savanna that is normally $49.99 and she only paid $9.00. We find many deals like this. You just have to be patient and look at a few stores.

We have done some christmas shoppiong offline. I have left it till too late. I don't think the items will arrive here on time. So I opted for offline shopping. © ronaldinu 2008

I like to browse a bit and do some buying that way, but on line is much more convenient for certain kinds of items. For instance, I buy all of my AeroGarden stuff online. There are no hydroponics shops around here at all.

It simply means growing plants in water instead of dirt. My red tomato avatar was grown in water. Actually I have a blog about this hobby: http://drann.typepad.com/anns_aerogarden_updates/

I must say offline. I enjoy finding the right gift for my friends and family. Sometimes I find things I never imagine to give to someone.

I recently find soaps that our shaped like food. Sample is a cupcake, cake etc. Its a great gift to give to your friends, classmate or officemates. =)

Offline definitely. I'm sorry to say that I haven't earned enough money online to go online shopping, although I've been dreaming of shopping online for a long time. I hope I earn enough to be able to do so soon, but for now, it's offline shopping for me. I enjoy shopping a lot especially when it comes to cute stuff, but I would usually end up buying more stuff for myself LOL
