Liquid soap of hard soap

I like a piece of hard soap to wash my hands and body with. On the kitchen sink side I have a bottle of liquid soap which I only use when I am doing lots of cooking as it lathers up quicker and I feel it gets my hands cleaner quicker. What you do like best? Or what do you have in your house.

We bath with bar soap but the liquid is sure nice at the bathroom sink, it saves on clean up for us anyway. I also have a small bottle at the kitchen sink but I'm the only one using it.

Hello, For some reason downstairs now by the sink where i usually do my dishes is a guest size soap , and I wash my hands with that . for some reason i really dont like dish soap to clean the hands . I did have liquid soap down there too at one time , and some upstairs .right now there is just some small hotel guest soap left over from my nyc trip and small pieces of bar soap that are too small to shower with in the tub !

We have bars everywhere besides the kitchen. Although I know that liquid soap is better (more hygienic, quick, give just the right amount of soap [more is not healthy]), my family and I just prefer bars. =P

i like to use hard soap when i take a bath and i rub it against my whole body...i do not know but it just makes me feel a lot cleaner as compared to when using the liquid soap...my kids also use liquid soap but that is because they do not like to sting their eyes with soaps right?

I like liquid soap for both hands and body. The roomies like hard soap for bathing, tho the "new" one will use the liquid on her body but likes the hard stuff for her face - go figure...

i have to use liquid soap.. my overly 'creative' children will somehow mould my barsoap into something everytime.. the barsoap will some get soft it gets wet.. and they'll manage to do carvings and shapes with it.. ..

I have got both kinds of soaps in my house.. But i use liquid soaps mopre often, as it's easy and convenient to use.. ON top of that, they are fast to wash off.. I dun really like hard soap as it's slippery when our hands are wet, and i hate it when the soap slipped from our hands, and it's gonna be hard to pick it up again.. haha =D

In the bathrooms and the kitchen there is liquid soap. We mainly use bar soap in the shower, though we do have body wash in there.

i always use hard soap to wash my hands. but i never use soap to wash my face. as i have sensitive skin on my face i use a special face wash that does not contain soap. soap can dry out or irritate even skin that is not sensitive. happy mylotting

I use liquid, both in the kitchen and shower. I am sure it is just me, but I have visions of little creepy crawlys all over the bar soap. In the shower I use one of those shower puffs, and the soap lathers up well.

I prefer using hard soap for my body because I love the smell of Olay Bar. I and my husband feel more comfortable in using hard soap. When it comes to hand soap of course it is better to use liquid but we don't have one.

I have bar soap in the kitchen and liquid soap in the bathrooms. My kids like the liquid soap better, it is easier for them to use. Sometimes I buy the foam liquid soap but most of the time, it's just the regular liquid. The bar soap in the kitchen is kind of my little treat for myself. I love the look of it and the feel of it. I have a little box set of hand soaps that are guest soaps and each one is a different scent. I think the liquid soap is faster and easier to use, less mess, but I really love the look and feel of bar soaps!

I have both. I use liquid soap for washing my hands and I have bar soap and shower gel in the shower. I just grab whichever I feel like grabbing. My shower gel is cucumber melon, so if I use that I put on my cucumber melon body spray afterward. If I use the bar soap then I use my Sunflowers perfume.

We use liquid soap, I haven't bought any bar soap in a long time. I also keep a bottle of it by my sink, it does make it easier to clean your hands when cooking.

hi ya Anne18 I prefer to use liquid soap as like you say it lathers up quickly. My son likes to use hard soap in the shower so there is always some in the bathroom on the bath. I prefer to use shower gel in the shower!

I have a bar and a liquid in the bathroom.I like the liquid soap as it does not get stuck in my nails for a quick hand wash it smells lovely and does not seem to dry my hands out so much.I prefer bath or shower liquid for the bath and shower I hardly ever use bar soap any more,I buy it for my husband as he likes to use it in the bath it drys my skin out to much.
