As for me, I prefer Clint Eastwood and I tell you why. He looks so tough and the western movies in which he plays are simply awesome. The one I like the most is A Fistful Of Dollars. The soundtrack also played its role and Morricone is one of the greatest composers.

The new movie starring Clint Eastwood that you are referring is Gran Torino ? I surely hope it will rock. I really much enjoyed that movie about the girl that was a box goddess.

Definitely Clint Eastwood. Besides Fistful of Dollars, I liked "Hang 'Em High" and "The Outlaw Josey Wales." Regards

First when i read the title of the movie The Outlaw Josey Wales, it did not ring any bells. But after checking on imdb.com I realized that I saw that movie as a child with my father in the cinema. A very nice one indeed.

Clint Eastwood wins hands down. I also agree with your comment about Ennio Morricone.

I have seen quite a few westerns and have to say that I have seen more John Wayne movies than Clint Eastwood. The Good, the Bad,and the Ugly and Two Mules for Sister Sara were my favorite westerns starring Clint Eastwood. True Grit was my favorite starring John Wayne. Clint's later works were also good.

I also prefer Clint Eastwood. I think it´s because he is a more modern cowboy in all of those movies. The one I like best is "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly". That is maybe the best cowboy movie I have seen with wonderful actors and an awesome music that has become a classic.
