If you would have the choice, would you want to be a part of the HP story?

Let's suppose the whole Harry Potter story would be true. And you would have the possibility to be a part of it, to go to Hogwarts and live all the adventures you want. But, if on the other hand, you would also have the possibility to have a great life here, let's suppose you could be anything you want: actress, singer, dancer etc. You know for sure you will have succes and fame, that you will have many friends, a lot of money, and all that comes with it, would you still want to be part of the HP story? I chose the Harry Potter story because I'm in love with it, but if you like any other fantasy story, then think of it instead of HP. All I wanted to know was if you would be willing to give up a life of succes and fame here, for a great life full of adventures in a fantasy - like life.

I also love a lot Harry Potter, indeed a genius creation! When I first read the book, I fell in love with the author, and expected with unpatience the next edition. I read the last part this summer, and I wanted to continue. Now, maybe Harry's childrens will carry on the wizard's adventures. I think so, although I would like to transfer to that wizard-like life all my friends, my family and beloved. I don't want new ones, i want a new environment, a new world. Hogwarts suits perfectly! I remember playing on PC Harry Potter, it felt just like being actually there, chasing and be frighten, winning and loosing friends. I think i wouldn't like the fight with evil, and all of that Volan de Mort stuff. I would preffer a quiet, peaceful wizard life, making tea and cakes appear from wishes and smiles. Maybe I'll be able to create this world, not for me, but for my children. Hogwarts will transform into their chamber, and Dumbledor into me, without beard and hat on. Imagination is the future, knowledge is the past. This is what we must do - dream an be took away by its power. You can't be really happy unless you want to achieve this thing. You have to think that happiness is something that you chase all of your life, because this is life about. When you stop chasing your dreams and take life for granted, deleting all the mistery and enigma, you become a living creature, and that's all. When you dream, you are human! I hope you received the right amount of optimism and happiness that I wanted to share with you! Have a nice day!

Thanks for your reply! Let me ask you something... have you ever heard about the law of attraction? You just sounded like you knew it, by your advices. Do you still want to be a part of the Harry Potter world? Of course, with your family and friends. I'm going to take the risk of being considered crazy and tell you that if you really still want to, then you could make that wish come true.

Of course I know about law of attraction. Check out my posts and you'll see that i wrote about it. Yes, I would still save my dreams. You know, as I said in the first comment, they keep your imagination in front of your knowledge. Being child in your mind is the perfect tool to master every aspect of this life. Not taking serious life's challenges and even joke with it can be the perfect recipe for achieving whatever you want. Have a nice day!

You're right! Now that I know about the law, I just miss so much my childish thoughts... Everything was possible then and nothing bad could ever happen. I just felt so happy and safe... and most important I had no worries! Now I'm overly stressed... The law is the best thing that ever happened to me! I'm so grateful I heard of it. I'll check your posts! And about Harry Potter, it still remained your goal, you mean? Is this still something you're "working on"?

i certainly would choose to live in harry potter's world i think there are no such glamorous and glorify way to live a world the way harry does i mean, think about it you could turn things up with "swish and flicks", be able to study at hogwarts, fight voldemort, and most importantly have your own broomstick and play quidditch even if in this world i became the most richest and powerful person on earth or became the most wanted celebrity like madonna or britney, i chose to be celebrity in the wizarding worlds so living the life of harry..definitely my first option

i don't think it's not possible to live in harry potter's world, since that world didn't actually exist right?! but i don't think its impossible to create harry's world you know with all technology that available today maybe they could build us harry's world but probably there won't be real witches and wizards though

I didn't mean by technology... I meant by thoughts... You could attract (or create) the HP world only by thinking. I guess you don't believe in that...

I've heard about the book, but never read it. I can't found it in the nearest book store here. anyway, my fantasy... it a bit real, doesnt related to magic like in hp, but more likely involving more power, like in heroes, but a lot more happy. hahaha

:) I'm happy you would choose the HP story over any other common celebrity life. You know, if you want to be a part of it just think and it will come true... Oh and by the way, thanks for the 'welcome' but I've been here for 2 years, I just wasn't active for a loooong time :)

well, if I had to chose between real life and HP, probably it would be HP, and like Volkus said, I would love to be Dumbledore. As for my all time favorite wizard, i would say that it's Gandalf from LoTR. If you saw these movies, you noticed that they are almost the same. HP is one of my favorite movies just because it lets me express my inner-child.

You would want to be Dumbledore? :) I would like to be Hermione... I don't think they are the same, they are just very similar, but Harry Potter is by far much better than Lord of the Rings! That's my opinion... I don't mean to offend you favourite movie (if it is). But no matter what fantasy story, I wanna ask you something, did you ever hear about the law of attraction?

Hmmmmm. Do I choose fame and fortune or Hogwarts. I am creeping myself out right now, because I'm not even thinking about the fame or fortune. Just thinking about a real Hogwarts or Dumbledore makes me get sweaty. I would definetely choose the Harry Potter world because I love it and everything I know about it. To me, you can put a price on a supercar, a mansion, even a jumbo jet, but you cannot put a price on a wand and the magic that comes with it. Also, I would love to have a chance to put an Avada Kedavra on Voldemort or should I say Tom. I would have to say if you chose any other fantasy world, I would have chosen the fame and fortune. I acknowledge J. K. Rowling for writing my most favorite book series of all time.

:) I'm glad you share my opinion. I would choose the Harry Potter world at any time, no matter what anyone would ever offer instead, too. Can I ask you something? Did you ever hear about the law of attraction?

Yes, that is one of my favorite laws. I believe that just as the law says if you want something very much and ask the universe for it and truly believe that it's coming then it will.
