Which Mario title is the best Super Mario Bros 1, 2 or 3? Why?

For me it is Super Mario Bros 3. This is because the graphics were superior and so was the gameplay. Also the game had variety. There were even mini games where you compete to get coins and lives. Mario also expanded to have more power ups such as the P-Wing, Tanooki suit, Hammer Bros Suit and Frog suit.

Yeah for me the choice is the same. Super mario brothers three was the first game I ever played on the NES system, it came with the console. I liked the variety and diversity of the worlds and levels each one looked a little different and had its own species of enemy.The ability to have a traveling suitcase and a variety of items was a brilliant idea also, I wish they would bring them back more in the the 3D versions of the game around at the moment.Liked the fact you earned an item every time you came to a hammer brother or boomerang brother also and the mini games were a nice break from the game play.
The music is iconic also and everybody recognizes the theme tunes from that game the most I think, the colours used where more attractive also and the idea that Bowser had 7 initial children with different names looks and characteristics was quite fun and original also, naturally I always liked Wendy Koopa as I am the only girl in a large family of boys.

i like mario bros 3. The best levels of the mario series and the whisles were interesting.
