Whats the WORST gift you have ever gotten?

i remember receiving a green curtain as christmas gift, what the heck. i just can't believe it, how in the hell he think of giving me a green curtain considering that i'm a man. even my wife didn't like it.

I guess the festival is just a time for people to get gifts for love one, it is also a season to get rid of unwanted gifts for other people as well. But to give gifts like used underwear and dirty old socks? That is plain nasty and mean! I received many gifts that I feel are not very useful. But in all my years of getting gifts, I have never gotten one that is so insulting. If you are not willing give to some one, then don't! The festivities is about giving and putting down our differences between people, friends or family. Not one to create more antagonism between the two warring parties.

I would have to say that the worst gift I got was sexy lingerie from my male parental unit when I was 17..He also bought my sister some...Fitting since being the child molesting perv that he is, I imagine he spent many an hour visualizing us in those tacky items...

The worst gift i over got oddly enough was a book. Okay me getting a book, when i love books, a bad thing. It was the worst book i ever read in a genre i don't normally read. When i read the book all i could think of was...He actually bought this book for himself then decided he needed to get me something so gave me a book he actually wanted to read. And the worst part of it is that when i went to trade it in a used bookstore...THEY WOULD NOT TAKE IT!! It was a brand new hard cover, but its by an author no one has heard of in a genre no one outside the medical field really reads.

The worst gift I ever got was nothing,lol. A while back when I was a student,I was meant to get a particular gift from my dad if I got above 90% in a particular subject(I could see the wrapped box containing the gift),but it came out that I got 89% and the gift was never given to me and that happened to be my worst...

The worst gift Ive ever got is when we were celebrating our 2nd year anniversary with my ex-bf and he gave me a stuff toy and a card saying he wanted to break up with me. . . too bad right?.. hahahaha. I cried.

I've never recieved anything like those people have but I did recieve something one year that I thought was rather silly. I had gotten my first car a year or two before the gift had been given to me so it was unfounded. Anyway, I went to my uncles house and his wife and himself had picked out a car wash gift pack for me and wrapped it up in a nice little bow and everything and gave it to me. When I opened it up, it was full of tire cleaner, car wash soap and all of this other stuff that I've used all of once. I'd rather go to the car wash.

ohhh he meant well, he was trying to be thoughtful (remember this charlotte?) one christmas, my ex-husband bought my christmas gift, even hid it at my best friend's house. built it up, so i'm expecting something really special! boy was it. they came over christmas morning, bringing my present........a case of fire starter logs! gee, how romantic. granted we had a fireplace, and i loved burning it. but...a case of firelogs for christmas?! i did try to not act disappointed, i think i pulled it off pretty good lol. the second worst gift (from same ex-husband) was a new iron and ironing board, this, a gift for the one person who hates ironing!lol

When my brother was married to his first wife they didn't have much money...and so she made my sisters and I dresses out of material that looked like gunny sacks material.....it itched and was ugly. Mine was olive green...my mom made us wear them because we didn't have alot of money. My sister in law at the time was just trying to give us something special and what they could afford...she didn't mean them to suck! LOL

I once received a gift from my aunt which I thought was hideous and I was very vocal about it. That was wrong and I have regretted having that reaction. I should have been more appreciative. I guess I was just a selfish brat. Cheers!!

the worst gift i received in my whole life when i was in college...one of this classmate who got my name as her manita, and OMG he gave me a piece of "human dong" isnt he foolish or something?...

The worst gift i had was from a cheapskate friend who gave me an old, small, kiddie-looking bag. I wondered how she could even think to give anyone such a present. It was really embarrassing and uh.. i threw it away, without her knowing of course.

I cant think of the worst gift I ever received. But there was a yea that scented candle/candle making became famous and everybody in my family and friends and co-workers gave me one. imagine my house filled with different candles..

Its the thought that counts but not at all times:)) Some of the gifts in that article's sick! My aunt once gave me a copy of Taebo. She said my behind is too fat and my boyfriend will fall out of love because of that.
