I went to the local grocery store today. Low and behold what did I see. Santa Claus riding down the highway on a motorcycle, no not with a sleigh and reindeers a Motorcycle. I have no idea where he was going or where he was coming from, I was in the parking lot and I heard horns blowing and I looked up and there he was riding down the highway. I got all excited and was yelling telling people to look. I even went inside the store stopping people telling them that I just saw Santa Riding down the highway. You Know He really Looked Good On His Harley Davidson Too. Have you ever got excited like a child at Christmas time?

Hi Chevee, That must have looked great!, few years ago, I saw Santa Claus on a horse and cart, there he was sitting high up, I got so excited I started to shout "hi Santa" and waving at him, and he waved back as the horse slowley went by, I felt like a child, but its funny though when you think about. Hugs. Tamara

I don't get that excited anymore.. But again, I haven't saw Santa on a motorcycle.. Maybe if I did see him, I would get excited like you did.. I enjoy Christmas but it is getting to be a chore and not as enjoyable as when I had a huge family to care for.. We have lost both of our mothers and a great neighbor who I had the privilege of cooking for on Christmas and also our son got married, so we are going easy until we get back into the swing of things for the holidays.. It will be just my husband and myself and maybe my son and his wife and a couple of our friends but other than that, it will be "peace and quiet on Earth" at our house.. So as far as the excited part, I think that I am over it for awhile.. But... after you started one of your last discussions, I am sending ecards to everyone on my friends list, yours will be there soon..

I don't have big holidays either. I usually spend most of my time alone. I have children and grand children but they are mostly off doing their thing. My sister has adopted this little girl with Aspergers syndrome and she is just driving her up a wall so whenever she gets a break she tries to rest and relax. But Santa Just put the icing on the cake for me.

Well, I am glad that you saw Santa.. Now if you will just make sure you are in bed asleep, he may be back on Christmas Eve.. Don't push your luck, he may really be real.. I haven't given up on him yet..

Here in Minnesota we have a couple towns that do Santa's arrival in unstandard fashions. The mall a mile from me has him each year the weekend prior to Thanksgiving fly in on a helicopter for his grand entrance. Then a town about 20 miles north has him ride in on a Harley with a sidecar and Mrs. Claus riding in the sidecar. I love seeing various ways he arrives each year instead of the parades and tradiontal sled and reindeer. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi GB where were you all day Sunday, I missed you. The most traditional ride for Santa here is the Big Red Firetruck.

I've seen a man before in our area dressed like Santa Claus riding on a Harley. I thought that was pretty cool. Anytime I see someone dressed like Santa I still get excited like I was a kid again.

My birthday is December 5th. Starting with Thanksgiving through January 1st is always my favorite time of year. I'm not so sure I get excited to see Santa as much as my younger grandchildren do. But, Santa gives the kids something to fulfill their fantasy with. Christmas is all about the kids and the young at heart I guess. It's been hard for me to get excited this year about Christmas with my home almost going into foreclosure I won't have money to even shop at the dollar store. But, I do have a roof over my head. Merry Christmas!

Heeehe! That's hilarious! Maybe he just wanted to try something new this year because he spends so much time on his sleigh up in the air. He wants to see what the actually ground is like. I don't blame Santa Claus, He works so hard every year getting presents to those who were nice all year and now he feels that it's time to treat himself and have a blast on the side. Can you blame him Chevee? How hard did you laugh?

I see Santa every year on his Harley. He actually travels across the US every year on his Harley to visit different states. He has some regular stops that he always makes. I just happen to live less then 8 miles from a Harley Davidson shop and not too far from the Harley factory in York, PA. He always makes a stop to our local Walmarts in his travels. I used to work at one of them and I was usually lucky enough to be working when he stoppped in.
