Is the economy affecting your Xmas shopping???

I like to think that I don't let the economy affect my life because I choose to not participate in it but this year I guess we are feeling the crunch. Also our daughter isn't at that age where she wants everything. She's only 2 1/2. We decided on this baby that goes on the potty and talks. It's $50 and then Elefun- this game that doesn't involve much thinking. Plus the rest of the family is getting her stuff and then the adults do a secret santa with a $25 limit.

My reduced income is caused by economy~~But I didn't have a great influence on my life~
In Xmas,If I find sth I interest,I'll buy it to my family~~

It is definitely hurting us this year. My husbands company laid him off right before thanksgiving. our area is getting hit so hard with layoffs that it is taking awhile for them to process his unemployment. Right now our bank account says 0 and we are waiting for the money to come. So this year our kids are getting gifts but no one else. Everyone understands though so I'm not to worried about that.
