I was just wondering how you get oil stains out of the carpet. Does anyone have any suggestions??

Try using dawn dish washing liquid. Apply it directly to th stain and then take a dry paper towell and lay it on top of it to absorb all that you can before rubbing. After you have done that then put the elbow grease into it! LOL Dawn is great for oil stains and a lot of other stains too! Good Luck

My husband brought a funnel into the house (not too smart on his part) that he had been chaning oil in the car with and dripped about three small spots on my carpet and that's how I got it up. It's been back in the summer maybe 3-4 months ago. Nothing has appeared as of yet. It amazes me how well Dawn dish detergent works for any type of oil or grease stain.

OMG and here I thought bringing a funnel in was dumb! Ever wonder what people are thinking? Or if they are! LOL I'm not sharing this with hubby or he'll have the car in my floor! Especially if he knows it can be cleaned! LOL
