Ok I have a few pearls of wisdom from my mom amd grandma and now I hear my kids and grand kids say them. I was wondering what did your Momma say? Is it something that you have passed on to your kids? or grandkids? One of my mom and grandma's favorite is "when your kids are little they step on your toes, when they are grown they step on your heart" andother is "everything done in the dark comes to light" I think that many of them were to help us think before we act. While others were just words of expierence. Anyone have one to share?

I think your momma's words are phrophetic. I can't think of any things like that my mom has said but tapes from her are stuck in my head like lock the door when I am in the car for instance. All of us have parental tapes running though our head, even if we don't have sayings as such.

I agree, I feel we do pass along a lot of the good, the bad and the uly to our kids, of couse with the good out weighing the bad for most of is. Thanks for the response!
