If South africa plays to its potential I think they can easily beat the Australians even in Australia. Now the present Australian team can be beaten on their home soil itself. It has become weaker than the past after the retirement of greats like Warne, Mcgrath, Langer and Gilchrist. Australia has to depend more on the first class players who are inexperienced to fight against a formidable South african side. But experience can come only if there is a start to one's career!

Yes there is chance for South Africans. They have proved it earlier. But, although Australia is in a bit out of form, never underestimate Aussies. They are a good side and can come back at any time with full flow. South Africa on the other side has also doing consistently well and have currently ranked Number 2 in both test match and One day International Cricket. They have talent as well. But, I think its 50-50. Cricket is all about application when it comes to both side with equal strenght. I think On the day, whichever team is going to apply themselves well between these two, is gonna win.

I very much want that to happen. Yes, I am hoping that, that is the result of the series between the South Africans and the Aussies. After the humiliating defeat at the hands of India, the Australians came back with a vengence against the New Zealanders. The New Zealanders bore the brunt of the Aussie frustration. But, I think, the South African team is much more prepared than that of the New Zealand team. After Gilchrist, Share Warne, Glenn McGrath and the likes going of the Australian team, their team is not that powerful. It was evident when they played against us - the Indians. It was Brett Lee almost alone who had to bowl the bulk of the Aussies attack. And it was too poor when he could not dominate the Indians as he has done against most of their opponants - even India. Greame Smith - the SA captain was all praise for the Indian victory and said that the Aussies were now becoming vulnarable. I think, the victory will give the South African team a good moral and an even good chance of toppling the World No. 1. As the Aussies behaved with us the Indians in the Sydeny Test, which is still fresh in the minds of fans like me, I will support each and every team that plays the Australians and hope that Australia lose each and every match. Good luck to the African Team.

Any series that is played between South Africa and Australia is always a fight and i dont expect this series to be different. The South Africans on paper i think have the stronger side so i really expect them to win. Although the Australians have the weaker side thats on paper but they will not just roll over and die, South Africa will have to play really well to win.

well i think right now the australian team is very weak compared to their original strength and so if the Sa team can play to their potential then there is full chance that they can beat the australin team and if they can do that, then it will be a dam good thing to happen.

Gone those days where the Australians are unbeatable. Having said that the have a very good team under the inspiring leadership of Ricky Ponting. It is important for Sounth Africans to target certain bowlers as there is a big hole to fill in the spin department. If south africa play to their potential and win critical moments of the match no one can stop them.

They lost because they didnt use the tatics of their ususal play and if they haded ricky as captaincy he had made lot of games won and i think nothing can beat australia but south africa is also a good TEam they have a good coach but by luck they can have a hand over australian if all player played in well form and tatics used and fielding opputunities

I strongly feel that this time around South Africa will defeat Australia.Because of the following reasons: 1). S.A's Pace attack has more sting & more experience. 2). In G.Smith S.A has a motivational leader. (Rricky ponting is going through a very distracting phase) 3). Australia is doing a mistake by going for pace friendly pitches. Australia's top order is in no sort of form to handle the red hot pace battery of South Africa. feel free to visit my Cricket http://sixer.blog.co.in
