Door Decorations

Hi GRANDPA BOB, The decorations on the that eautiful door looks really nice, I have a christmas wrath red apples round mine on my front door. Tamara

I used to put one on my front door that my youngest daughter made in school now it is just put up before it gets tore up. There is not enough room for it to hang on the front door because of the storm door and there is no way I am going to hang it on the outside. I later did get a big red bow and I put bells on it and I glued some Christmas decorations on it.

You just wait until I can get to the library and upload my pictures..Yes I decorate my front door, with a wreath I made from an old artificial tree we had..(I don't know if you read it, but this is part of my tree that my husband had made and I use the remains to make a wreath..) I hope to get them soon, but in the meantime, I will check out your decoration on your door..

That is real pretty GB. I have a wreath with red bells on it and the bells lights up and have a little jingling music to it. GB, you have a lot of decorations put up and you are going to have a job putting all this decorations away after Christmas. Everything is nice and pretty I have seen every one of your post and decoration photos. You are really enjoying this Holiday season. I love it all.

Your white door looks beautiful with the red bow and bells on it. It is very smart and well decorated. I have a green and gold Holly wreath on my door. I always put a wreath on my door as I think it is the only decoration that I have that is a religious one (not That I am religious) but I think it is a tradition where I live or something. It is not compulsary but everyone puts out a Holly wreath. I love the red bow and bell better though Bob. My wreath is very drab and keeps falling of as I hung it myself. I was waiting too long on the husband so I tried to hang it with a nail.

Grandpa.. I have a Christmas wreath hunging on my front door. I put one up every year. I also have a santa that plays Christmas songs and I have it outside next to my mailbox. Every time someone come to my front porch the santa goes off and plays Christmas music. I no the mailman hates it lol.

I have a green wreath with red velvet bows and little ornaments on it. I have a sled with Merry Christmas on it and two golden bells. Thats all that I have on my door. I have some colored glass bulb plants that I place by the door in a pot. Merry Christmas, Grandpa!

In my country Grandpa Bob, people go gaga over decorations. We have large nativities in every corner of the streets. I may take some pictures and post them. Our houses are already decorated right after nov. 2 because we feel the spirit of Christmas right after All Soul's Day. In my home, our furnitures and curtains have Christmas motifs. Our doors, windows and every space available are being smothered with Christmas decors. Even those very poor homes will always have some decorations in them.

Very nice. I usually hang a cross-stitched tapestry in the door window. Which I just did now, only to have the mini-blind come off and fall on my head. Thanks for the reminder.

Pretty door, Grandpa Bob. I like to decorate my door. I usually hang a live wreath with a bow on it. I tend to keep things simple. The beautiful part of it for me is the deer door hanger that I hang it from.

I have a lighted wreath that has a big bow and two candy canes hanging from it....sitting right next to it is my snowman that I painted and it has lights around it too! Not alot but enough.

We put up a wreath with a big red bow. It hangs from a silver colored door hanger. My mother in law made it a couple of years ago for us. the only problem is that because the door was hung badly (by the landlords workers) that with the wreath on the door, the door is hard to shut. It looks pretty though.

That's a very nice decoration grand pa bob. I don't have anything on my door right now but saw a pretty wreath I want to get to put on it. I will most likely go this weekend to buy that wreath to put on my door. Everything else is all set up and decorated.

we usually just put a wreath on the inside door. you really can't put too many outside decorations up in this neighborhood,we've had too many incidents of grinches smashing stuff. somebody broke my mom's angel last year and she was really upset.

That looks very beautiful and festive...must sound nice with the jingle bells...love bell sounds...LOL I go all out decorating my front door...takes me more than two hours to do. I theme my outside door like an over-sized gift...I first apply regular gift paper the entire length of the door....add velvet gift bows, a wreath, and other decorations. I haven't done it yet as I'm hoping (fingers crossed and finances) will get my tree next week....that is if I get paid by Ciao which they haven't done yet...grrrr..I never decorate the door until I get the tree inside as it might ruin the decorations

I picked up some solar powered Christmas lights this year, that we are suppose to put up on our outside windows. We've gotten the solar panels out but haven't gotten the lights up yet (we are kind of slow), so I don't know how well they will work.

I haven't decorated my front door yet, but you reminded me I have a holly wreath somewhere which I usually put out. I must go have a search ...

well, i had something on my front door for thanksgiving, and was going to put a wreath up for christmas. but i only had one hook that would fit over the doors, and i had bought a cloth advent calendar for my son that i stuffed myself, so i used the hook to hang it on one of the closet doors for him. so no front door decorations since i forgot to buy another hook! lol my mother-in-law had given me 3 large jingle bells, though. i put them on 3 different doors downstairs, but they ended up getting tossed in the garbage because my husband and i were getting headaches from the boys banging them against the doors all day! lol

hello grandpa bob... you're door decorations look great... you could feel Christmas spirit even when you're outside... on our door, i hanged a decoration of 2 bells colored yellow gold and i put some red Christmas balls on it so as to complement with Christmas season... :)
