Ok I'm curious on how many people regift their gifts that they get each year. Do you think it is ok to regift? I personally do regift once in awhile, like one year this one person bought me a bath gift basket and well with us not having a bath tub, I gave it to my sister as a gift the following year for christmas knowing that she had a bathtub. I really would not care if someone would to regift a gift I gave them because I would be happy that at least someone could use it and also it helps you know what not to buy the following year for the person. To me I have a great point about the postives of regifting. All are welcome to give me their thoughts on this topic about regifting. Happy Mylotting

I don't see anything wrong with regifting. If it is something that you are never going to use and it is going to sit around and collect dust then why not? Just make sure you don't give it to someone who is friendly with the person who gave it to you.

Well it makes sense not to give it to someone who is friends with the person who gave it to you because if that was to happen I would feel so bad. Well you have a great point here. Happy Mylotting

Hi seppy1984.. Personally speaking I prefer not to regift. Even if there are gifts that I might not be able to use or doesnt like, I prefer to keep it. I have this notion that the person who gave me a gift might feel hurt or rejected if he will found out that I regift his gift. There are just people who are sensitive though you will explain why you did such act. I dont want my gifts too to be regift so I just keep those gifts and hopeful that I might be able to use it in the near future.

I never thought about it that way before. I will keep in that in mind for now on. Happy Mylotting
