I Wouldn't Call It A Crush - It's More Of A... Long-Term Obsession

Do you have a crush on any star? I'm a huge fan of Andrei Arshavin (Russian soccer player) but I wouldn't exactly call it a crush. Sure, my "admiration" is both on and off the field, but that doesn't mean I like him (!). Or does it..? You shall never know... Muhahhahaha! *Cough* Er... yeah...

Nice discussion. xD Well, as you know already, I'm... obsessed... with Roman Pavlyuchenko (Russian soccer player as well). He's so awesome. ^_^ ... *Looks away* I need not to say more.

Strange as it may seem, even as a teenager I never really had a crush on any stars at all. I didn't have posters of famous women on my walls or anything! Actually from memory I seemed to be one of the very few kids my own age at the time that didn't. I did have somewhat of an overzealous interest in Chuck Norris though and used to run around the yard pretending to be him and would karate kick everything! lol. I thought he was a living legend and absolutely unbeatable! Maybe this was my own version of a crush at the time? By the way, I think you are very clever with your cartoons and Jeff the Llama etc. Well done.

You are welcome. I haven't read through all the comics but so far I have gotten a good chuckle out of what I have seen already. I especially liked the single leaf on Jeff's nose as he was being camouflaged and them pretending to not be able to see him. It reminded me of similar things said to me as a child when I would tell my Mother I was invisible! The language you have chosen for the characters to speak is able to be picked up remarkably quickly as well. And as for me being a mature child I think I was actually far from it! lol. I was just too caught up with being a junior maniac and running around like a ball of fire to be too caught up in things like crushes and posters on my wall.

Haha! It's hard to imagine a thirteen year old (for example) running around like a fireball. Still, I find kids these days in too much of a hurry to grow up rather than take advantage of their few years of unrestrained playfulness. When I was younger I didn't spend my time pinning-up photos of 'hot celebrities', I was outside playing. In today's society, children seem to find it 'cool' to have crushes, but the truth is; it really doesn't mean much at all. Thanks for all the compliments about the comic! It certainly is encouraging! I didn't think that people outside of our circle of friends/acquaintances would understand the humor (or even the language). I'm motivated to start the new episode now. Too bad it's 1:30am and too late to take out my pens and paper. xD

Hehe, you must have been pretty mature as a kid.^_^ Believe it or not, I was obsessed with karate and stuff like that when I was younger as well (yes, I'm a girl xD). I never had any pin-ups of guys on my wall either (a lot of people I knew did though.. =P). o_o As for your comment about Zezlol (the comic with Jeff, etc), thanks so much! When my friend and I read that we actually reacted by saying "Whoaaa" out loud. xD Thanks again.
