Well, Asia and rest of the world has played quite a lot of matches in the past. Asian team which contains Srilanka, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh have a lot of crickets and players can be easily picked up since there are 4 nations. But, the challenge is to pick the right team with proper adjustment in both batting and bowling department. Here If I am asked to construct a team of Asia, I will construct it as follows. One day team 1. S. Jayasuriya 2. V. Sehwag 3. K. Sangakara (wk) 4. S. Tendulkar 5. Y. Singh 6. M. Dhoni (c) 7. C. Vaas 8. Z. Khan 9. S. Akthar 10.A. Mendis 11.M. Muralidaran How will you pick your Asia team?

On current form Gambir will be in the team as he was the first batsman to cross this year in ODI, his average is also impressive. Aktar will not fit into 2nd or 3rd asian team also. Malinga with his recent exploits has an edge over Vass. Otherwise the core of your team can be reatined. Aktars spot should go to Ishant or an allrounder like Irfan Phatan. My Asia eleven for ODI will look like this: 1.Shewag 2.Gambir 3.Tendulkar 4.Yuvraj singh 5.Sangakara 6.Dhoni 7.Mendis 8.Zaheer 9.Ishanth 10.Malinga 11.Muralidharan 12.Yunis khan - 12th man ( No, i did not forget Pakisthan)
