I love my Christmas tree. I think it's the center of all the decorations for the holiday season...however I have a set of three Santa's....all different that were gifts from people that were very special to me. So what is your favorite decoration? Wreaths? The Christmas tree? Or a special figurine? Maybe a nativity?

It is so hard for me to narrow it down to just one item. I guess I would have to say the Christmas tree because it is the center of all the decorations. You can dress it up in so many different ways and you change change the theme of it too. The Christmas tree is like a blank canvas before it is decorated. I just love decorating everything I can. My problem is finding the time to decorate it all. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I think you are right...it's the center of the decorations and a blank slate that says alot about who you are!

I have a small vintage santa stuffed ornament and I just love it. It has a bell in his hand and its very old style and elegant. I acquired it a few years back and now bring it out every year! Its funny how certain things just win your heart and that little Santa won mine.

It is something I bought a couple of years ago. I really wanted to post a picture of it, but my mom is having a hard time trying to hook up her digital camera to her computer. It is an aqua colored reindeer sprinkled with silver glitter, with hot pink antlers and neon faux fur around his neck. I love it!

This year, one of my nieces made beaded Christmas ornaments for each of us in the family. She used plain round ball-type Christmas tree ornaments. Then she did elaborate beading designs that hung over the top and down the sides of the balls. I can't describe them very well but the one she made me was absolutely breathtaking! It was all red beads hanging over a white "ball" shaped ornament. It's definitely my favorite decoration. Bet your Christmas tree was gorgeous! Mine was only 18 inches tall! That's so crazy, isn't it?

THat sounds beautiful! I went to a friends house and her mom made her "popcorn" strings for her tree that are crocheted around the wooden beads...I am trying to get the pattern so I can give it a try!

I think the Christmas tree is for me. It is so personable and every year my children have a new ornament for the tree so it is really special to me.

I would have to say a wreath with white, painted pinecones. Next I would have to say a real Christmas tree. Love the smell and the very interesting ornaments. We don't have a tree but our kids enjoy their trees. One of our kids has her tree all decorated with ambulances or firetrucks since they are both paramedics/firefighters. It's very cool. She did put one of my handmade ornaments off to the side which is silver so it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I really like it all. I have some that was my husband's when he was a young child and a lot of things that my children have made in school and my grandkids have made in day care and or school. I can't pick just one.

Hi Jill, Can I have two favourites please? I have hidden in my tree each year a little robin in a nest that looks so realisic and people take another look when they first see it, and a special person bought it one year as they knew I always bought a new decoration each year for the tree. My next favourite are the pine cones that sit on the branches sprayed with a touch of snow and I think they look really pretty. I love natural things, in case you hadn't guessed. My sons favourites are a wooden snowman and santa and my younger daughter loves an angel that she made years ago and my eldest loves a little white Christmas teddy that hangs from the tree. Huggles. Ellie :D

I would say my tree is my favorite. We've had it over 30 years and still looks good. Every year we think we'd like to get another one but then we keep thinking about the cost and how the one we have still looks good so we don't get one. One day we will. Almost all of my ornaments are handmade and some are old that my Mom had. So, I think that would be my favorite decoration.
